Agreed, UND did get some credit for their win. I was initially pointing out the drop in his poll vote, after beating Sac St. because other posters were predicting the griz to jump a spot or 2 with a win over Sac St. this coming weekend. So I was initially just jokin around, but had to point out it was Mazzolini, since he covers Griz football.

As you said, polls aren't always totally logical.

They were only predicting a win becuase on other top ten team is guaranteed to finally lose a game. It would put hem at 6-1 or 5-1 and the griz would be 5-1. Almost always a losing team drops so henceforth the move up a spot. Had nothing to do with the quality of Sac St or the griz win just the nature of the beast

I get it. My initial comment was more satirical, based on the fact that the Grizz writer dropped us a spot after a blowout win. I also said UNI would move up 10 spots in the polls with another loss, again satire.

What are these "Sioux" you are a fan of? I don't recall any team being called the Sioux anymore.

They were the Sioux when I was there, so I'll stick with that for now. Really isn't discussion worthy.

512...with you on this one. :thumb:

Quick start:
#7 James Madison broke on top of New Hampshire, 7-0, with about 9 min left in Q1. Game showing on DirecTV channels 639, 665 and 698 ... so you have choices.

#17 Albany behind Maine, 7-3 with a bit over 5 min left in Q1. That game is showing on DTV 608.

#7 JMU over New Hampshire, 28-12. Not looking good for an upset.

Maine is looking really good against #17 Albany, 20-8. Last TD was a 50-yard bomb with a great catch at the goal line.

#15 North Carolina A&T leading Bethune-Cookman, 21-14, midway thru Q2.

#20 Harvard losing at Holy Cross, 14-21, also midway thru Q2.

FWIW: St. Francis (PA) leading Bryant, 21-3, late in Q3.

UND puts together a solid opening drive for a TD, then promptly gives up a kick return TD. It was a pretty impressive return.

Then SUU forces punt and connects on 68 yard touchdown reception to their poor-man's JLM..

Citadel at Chattanooga is a great game 14-14; 2 mins left in 1st half.

It is a good one; biggest minus is the crowd. Nice looking stadium with not a lot of folks there watching a top-10 match up.

And #8 Citadel pulled off the "upset" (not much of an upset) over #5 Chattie, 22-14. Heck of a game!
