W&M now leads Charlotte 41-24, with a bit over 3 min in the game. Also, they have the ball. The announcers just had a discussion about the common perception that FBS will always have an advantage in the 4th quarter because of their extra scholarships. They admit that that does not hold for this game ... The Tribe is mostly dominating the line of scrimmage.

Charlotte is obviously a crappy FBS team, the numbers are ridiculous: W&M picked up just sort of 300 yards rushing and out-gained Charlotte by 554 to 379. Really total domination.

I don't plan to do a poll guesses this early, but I'd be really surprised if The Tribe doesn't jump into the top-25 in whatever poll comes out next.

But....but, the letters lined up, GRIZ WIN NC. I kept waiting for the exclamation point, then I realized there are no exclamation points in alphabet soup.
 
Tennessee State giving EWU a tussle ... they lead 19-15 at the end of the 1st quarter.

And UC-Davis scored first and lead Cal 7-0 early in the 2nd quarter.
