FCS Poll Guesses (Sept 22)

"middle of the pack"? Me thinks you give UNM too much credit. I think 'Scats, Griz, Wildcats, Bengals, Lumberjacks, Hornets, Aggies, Vandals and possibly the Eagles ALL beat UNM...

I was going by Sagarin Ratings, which puts New Mexico directly as a "Middle-of-the-Pack" Big Sky program. I do believe that all the teams you mentioned would beat New Mexico most of the time.

94 Montana
102 Montana State
112 Idaho
115 Sacramento State
133 Weber State
136 New Mexico
139 UC Davis
162 Northern Arizona
175 Idaho State
178 Eastern Washington
201 Portland State
213 Cal Poly
234 Northern Colorado

I know you are over compensating to make a point, but fore sure I don't think ISU, NAU, or EWU beat UNM. Weebs, Davis are probably toss-ups. Scats, Griz, Vandals, Hornets probably win more than they lose. I think that is middle of the pack.

I think the UNM QB would be a top 3 BSC QB though. Defensively they were average but they had some serious talent offensively that can’t be overlooked. Yes we all agree the cats level is unknown but based off that 2nd half, when cats finally discovered UNM’s scheme they didn’t score a touchdown. I believe that shows how talented this defense is. We all know this offense is very good running it but we all have questioned the pass game. Thought 4 games this is by far the best we have passed it as pass protection has improved and the wr talent is great. Also the section of passes by Tommy has tremendously improved as he focuses on more short quick passes. We can all recognize the cats are kinda unknown but based on the time the starters got it is VERY clear that this is a top 3 team in the country. We could’ve put up 70+ the last two maybe 3 weeks but it is way more important to get the 2s and 3s reps. You can call me an idiot if I’m wrong but this cats team is very legit and I expect them to show it for the next couple of weeks and really show it against Idaho.

My question is why does msu’s fall camp go well into October? These weekly scrimmages have to get boring for both the fans, players, and coaches. They must be looking forward to the season opener against Idaho..

In what world are the gris better than the cats so far. The gris have had 3 close games against teams that are happy to win playoff games and one easy game. Cats have looked phenomenal and offense is really utilized the short passes. Cats, Idaho, and Sdsu are light years above everyone.

Good lord. Even if everything you say is true, you better pray your QB doesn’t get hurt. You don’t have a backup. He isn’t even getting reasonable reps during practices. Cats fans shouldn’t be concerned, they should be apoplectic at this point. How does a D1 program get into that situation? Especially when TM has been hurt every single year he played at MOO U. I like TM and think he is a good kid. I hate seeing any player get injured. Just cannot believe they have him run the ball so much. Crazy. Good luck with the rest of the season. Cats have played garbage teams. They aren’t above anyone near as I can tell. Cupcake schedule

You expected MSU to show well last year in the brawl. How did that work out Nostradamus?

The Cat 2d team QB has 2 completions and the 3d teamer has 1 completion.

Three teams that the Griz played would have beaten the Cats this year. It isn't clear in the least that the Cats are a top 3 team. Your knowledge of the game of football is about zero. My god, how do you come up with so many stupid things.

The Cats have not looked phenomenal. They were mediocre in their first game, against a real team, and were lucky to win. Do you know which team the UM coaches think was the best team we played? I'll give you 2 guesses.

Moaner should either go back to Scat Nation (what a gross sounding community) or head on over to Idahos forum. The kittens play the vandals first and we can go over hypotheticals all we want, but the mustard wearing rednecks of the conference have 1 FBS win, 2 FCS ranked wins and a close loss to a top 10 FBS program. He should worry about them before blowing your whole wad over here.

UND would’ve given us a game but Missouri St is 3-2 with 3 2 to 1 score games and WCU is 1-3. I’d focus on your next week game as Weber is 2-3 but Saragin has them above both WCU and right next to Missouri St, also well above EW. I’d have some respect for the gris if they hadn’t played so many 20-30 ranked teams very close, especially at home.

And could likely be playing with their 4th string qb.

I've heard the coaches discuss which are the toughest teams the Griz have faced, and you obviously don't have a clue on that. I stick by what I said. And you don't have a clue about the Griz or who they played.

I’ve been to every home game but WCU you joker. UND, Missouri St, and WCU were by far the best teams the gris played. EW has one of the worst defenses in FCS and you barely beat them.

UNM is a mediocre team and you had to come from behind to beat them at the end. And since then, you haven't played a good team. The fact is that Griz have played 4 good teams and 1 bad one. You can crow and diss all you want, but the plain fact is that you don't know what you're talking about. Neither the Cats nor the Griz have shown or proved that they are a top team or even a very good team yet. It makes me laugh that people like you, who don't understand football, keep wanting to spout off and draw big conclusions at this point. You did this last year too, and were proven wrong on virtually everything you said.
