FCS Poll Guesses (Sept 22)

T
UM could put up 100 points on Rocky Mountain College pretty easily. But it’s a moot point.

And this “lesser opponent” beat NDSU by four scores in the Alerus Center last year and is in the running for an MVFC title this year.
That lesser opponent was in a pretty close game with a non-scholarship team this last week

In what world are the gris better than the cats so far. The gris have had 3 close games against teams that are happy to win playoff games and one easy game. Cats have looked phenomenal and offense is really utilized the short passes. Cats, Idaho, and Sdsu are light years above everyone.

Why are you here and not on the Cat board where you belong???

There have been some idiotic, ass hat, douche nozzle posters here over the years. You are putting yourself at the top of the list very quickly.

Anything you say about the Cats or anything they’ve done so far this season is LITERALLY a moot point as they haven’t played ANYONE yet.

The Griz looked like the best team in all of college football at all levels against Morehead St…. And who cares because that team was horrible an it tells us absolutely nothing about the Griz. And here’s the shocker for you….every team the Cats have played this season are the equivalents or worse than Morehead St

You literally can’t draw a thing about the Cats yet as their SOS is 252 out of 263 teams in the nation. Revisit this after they actually play a football team, which is still weeks away. And for good measure and consistency, GTFOOH.

The way I see the Kittens should be ranked at # 9.They have shown us nothing so far.I mean they could not even get a decent team to play them so they had to pay a high school team to help fill their coffers.Beware of the Bobcat trap because soon you will get your foot caught in it.

lol. Riiiiiight about this time last year there was a VERY similar post by a delusional 'Scat fan (I believe it was WBFG or some other dipstick) who said almost the exact same thing. Something to the effect of "There's SDSU & MSU, and then there's a BIG GAP to the 3rd best team."...

Griz are better than the Cats too.
Interesting opinion. Of course, you also predicted the Cats would lose to UNM, and that Zack Crews didn't get a tackle, and that the Cats' OL was small, griz would beat UND, Troy Andersen wasn't very fast and wouldn't get drafted in the 2nd round, Denarius McGhee was a pussy, etc... the list goes on and on.

We'll find out who the better team is on November 23rd. The last couple times the griz came into Bobcat stadium..... things went horribly wrong for the visiting team. Incredibly difficult to beat the Cats at home, but maybe the griz will pull off a miracle. We'll see.

How far will the scats fall if they get beat in the Kibblet dome? Not sure why but I can see it happening..
I don’t think they will lose but it would not surprise me if they did. bubz suck worse than we do in domes and IIRC they lost there recently. The strength of the bungles is their passing O which just so happens to be the bubz’s weakness.
Because the bubzcatz have not played anyone yet, I could totally see them on the struggle bus early but grinding out a win late

I predicted Griz would beat Cats last year and would be favored, before season. I always pick against Cats, to irritate people like you. I said multiple times Crews wasn’t in official stats for getting tackle. I said Anderson didn’t have elite speed. Not one Cat said Anderson had elite speed before the Combine McGhee was a pussy, just like you. Every Cat prediction you made last season was wrong.

The current Cat poll ranking is a joke.

Even if god himself reached his hand down into that litter box you call a stadium and made a miracle happen (which is not what it takes to beat you guys btw), the Griz still wouldn’t make a documentary about it.

If we were basing the Top 5 on resumes as of right now, this would be my vote if I had a say in a ballot:

1. Idaho (3-1)
2. South Dakota State (3-1)
3. North Dakota State (3-1)
4. Montana State (4-0)
5. South Dakota (2-1)

One could make a strong case for Idaho to be voted #1 in the poll right now. Two strong performances against #3 Oregon and Wyoming, a dominating win over ranked Albany, and a ranked road win over Abilene Christian.

South Dakota State could also be made a case for retaining the #1 spot. With them being the 2x defending national champs and not having lost to an FCS team in several years, I would say they should keep that #1 spot until they are defeated by an FCS program. However, they have shown to have some early-season struggles that they are working out. However, they still look good and definitely are top 2.

NDSU again, by default, is #3 due to being NDSU. They just find ways to win.

And for Montana State... of the four top 4 teams, they have the weakest resume by far. A 4-0 start is not all that surprising, and for anyone who just looks at team records, they're likely saying, "Montana State is a power program, they're 4-0, they must be really good this year". As others have said, Montana State really hasn't had any real challenge outside of FBS New Mexico... and New Mexico would be a middle-of-the-pack Big Sky program. That Idaho/Montana State top 5 matchup in mid October is going to be a hell of a game.

This may surprise you, but I agree with you on this one. The Cats have had some bad games in domes, same as the Griz. I don't know what it is about domes that causes that. Also, I agree the jury is still out on the Cats with their weak schedule. This will be the first test and I think this game could go either way. The Bengals have shown flashes of being very good. Their passing game can be dangerous. As I have been saying all along, it is going to be an interesting season in the Big Sky.

Good GOD man, if you don't think the 'Scats are beating the hapless Bungles, regardless of WHERE it's played, it's gonna be a LOOOOOOONG season for you.

North Dakota ran all over them and kept that offense in check. The cats will run away with this game and their entire schedule minus maybe Idaho, possibly Davis and then us.

"middle of the pack"? Me thinks you give UNM too much credit. I think 'Scats, Griz, Wildcats, Bengals, Lumberjacks, Hornets, Aggies, Vandals and possibly the Eagles ALL beat UNM...

It is very hard to get a handle on the Cats with their early schedule. I feel they have a very strong team but they need to prove themselves. As for the Bengals, they have shown flashes. I have been to the dome games over the years and I have seen what can happen. Look at the Griz last year at NAU. They went into that game as good favorites and just played like crap.

Tsk Tsk... personal insults? You mad bro? It's just football fandom, and just because you are wrong a lot, doesn't mean you have to get all butt hurt about it! lol P.S. I would have loved to see you go up against McGhee when you were both in your prime. :ROFLMAO:
