FCS Point Spreads....Week 3

Rather than have IdaGriz tell us who he thinks is an underdog and favorite, I'm just gonna start a weekly thread and show you guys who actually IS favored and by how much in Vegas for notable FCS games and all Big Sky teams.

For those of you don't know how this works, Drake +12 means that Drake is a 12 point Underdog, in other words getting 12 points. So Indiana State -12 means Indiana State is favored by 12, or giving up 12.

Lets here your thoughts on these games:

Indiana State -12 vs Drake

UC Davis +7.5 @ South Dakota State

App State -7.5 vs The Citadel

Stephen F. Austin +14 @ Montana State LOCK OF THE WEEK

Montana -14 vs Liberty

Sac State -12.5 vs Northern Colorado

Weber State -3.5 vs McNeese State

UNLV +10.5 vs Washington State

UMASS +46.5 @ Michigan

Idaho +42.5 @ LSU

Northern Iowa +9 @ Iowa

Portland State +29 @ Washington

Cal Poly + 11.5 @ Wyoming

North Dakota +18.5 @ San Diego State

5Dimes.com is the only site I have found that takes action on FCS lines in the regular season. No money lines, just against the spread for the FCS games right now.

That sucks. It would be tempting if you could get +300 or 350
 
Mr. Geddes is throwing a significant chunk at the MSU game, taking Stephen F. Austin. I would recommend locking now, as I suspect that to pinch a bit.. I lost a benji on the Carroll game, so what do I know? Seriously, lock it in. I will eat crow if wrong. I will not pay your nut, however!

Edit: I truly did not lose $100 in cold hard cash, as I won it back taking App State. Please do not hold that against me..

It moved to -15.5 as of right now. You are giving Sac State too much credit, the buffaloes are one of the worst teams in college football.

Agree. UMSU 49; SacSt 19 the week before. No one is calling NMSU tough.

Tough to say. If you base your opinion purely on how we've played the first two games... it looks like a good bet to play the SFA side of things. However, people who closely follow the Bobcats, attend the QBC meetings, etc... understand that while we've got some things to clean up, and while we're a bit wounded right now... we have some serious talent and are a dangerous team. Most likely the CATS are going to explode offensively sometime soon and when it happens, you don't want to be playing us.
Honestly, I was thinking that taking the Liberty side of things at 14 might be something to consider. They aren't going to lay down.
