Blather? You must be joking. This is how I feel about a subject, I'm not taking stats out of my ass and telling you they are real, I'm telling you how I feel about UM moving up. You said MWC was dying to get UM in there, I don't see your facts on that bullshit response. I can't imagine in a million years why MWC would want UM after they took SJSU, who was thinking about dropping football. That shows me, in my opinion, that MWC wasn't considering UM, because if I was them, I would much rather take UM then SJSU any day of the week.EverettGriz said:

If even you would have chosen Montana, is it logical to conclude that the MWC didn't at least consider UM?
My position is that UM was most likely the first program approached by the MWC, but when UM turned them down, the conference went looking elsewhere. That's why I stated that the MWC would have loved to have Montana. It seems that you agree they would have been a better fit than the teams chosen. Perhaps we're in agreement here.

Perhaps I should have elaborated more, I can't imagine UM was ranked higher than SJSU on MWC's list. To me, picking SJSU over UM is silly, SJSU hasn't been relevant ever, nor do I even remember they are a school. So my opinion is that UM wasn't even approached because picking SJSU is borderline ridiculous. So silly in fact that they have become a decent conference to becoming the next WAC:EverettGriz said:

Perhaps you have "inside" info that states that an actual offer was extended to UM, but whoever decided that SJSU was a better pick must be stupid, and thus I can't imagine an offer was extended.

Okay, I think we're basically in agreement. But just to be clear: You believe that Montana was a fit for the MWC, but wasn't asked because the conference is led by people too stupid to recognize that. I believe that the conference did recognize it, but knew they would be rejected by UM.
