FCS news

Not what the wording says. “The committee will give more consideration to teams that have played all Division I opponents and/or a greater number of Division I games”.

You would assume wrong. FCS>D2
I don’t quite agree. Actual SOS is very important. I get that some computer SOS formula's don't figure in D2. No committee member is going take give more for a weak FCS than a strong D2. “More consideration” doesn’t mean much or as much as you apparently think. The rule doesn’t say the committee will rate a team that played crappy FCS teams over a team that played a top D2. Again, this new rule is for close comparisons, from what I read.

Edit: I relied, probably too much on this early statement in an AI: "The core of the change is a formal shift toward prioritizing D1-only schedules for at-large playoff bids." I now see after more research that while this appears to be true, there are additional possible negative effects of D2's in the selection process.

Again, I think it mostly for comparison in close calls. It looks like it could impact seeding too. But I still think it would only impact the difference between 2 teams that are very close in seeding. I just don't see a good team like the Griz being punished for playing a good D2. However, further learning on the subject may prove me wrong.

As I have said before, I don't think playing a good FBS and getting crushed should earn a team much, if anything either. I wouldn't give MSU a damn thing for getting crushed by Oregon. I might not hold it against them, tho.

She managed flight schedules, oversaw air crew training missions and supervised resources, it said.

A graduate of Central Washington University, Savino completed training as a combat systems officer before serving at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, the Air Force said. She studied at Mississippi’s Columbus Air Force Base to become a military pilot last year.”
