No kidding. His extension is HUGE. I would guess Bohl will more likely take NDSU up to the FBS before he leaves for an FBS job.

I think the extension is to scare off other prospective FCS programs and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have an escape clause to be the Cornhuskers head coach. The Bison just completed a jump to the FBS and they don't have the population base to support a jump to FCS; two strikes against going to the FCS.

I would not blame him. That job is one of the best in the nation. Great fanbase too. I wonder how recruits and fans of NDSU would handle him leaving after that kind of long term contract? I would hope they would understand that job being a once in a lifetime offer..

For the Griz to get back to the championship level again, we need to improve three areas this coming year:
1) secondary play, specifically safety play. NDSU was solid there along with their all American corner.
2) QB play. Nothing flashy needed. Move the chains and quit turning the ball over. NDSU was average at best at this position but gets it done.
3) Gametime decisions by coaching staff. Both play calling and half time adjustments.
Looking forward to a much improved Griz in 2013!

At this point, NDSU should seriously consider moving up, say, to the MWC. They did beat CSU this year. They would be a middle tier MWC team & could give Boise State serious challenge. I won't mention what the Bison would have done to the Griz this year.

First of all, thank God we'll never have to play the Bison. Second, their University Pres probably believes in their program, unlike ours. Third, it appears all the NoDaks in administration and in the stands must believe in their whole coaching staff.
No acceptance of mediocracy in that program!

NDSU is so far ahead of any other FCS team. They lose nothing and get their two best defensive players back from season ending injuries.
