Looking at this weeks results, the FCS is watered down argument appears to be non-fiction. Based on the below results, FCS looks to be weaker than its ever been.

St Joseph's (IN) 34 Valparaiso 31
Delta State 24 Mississippi Valley State 14
Colorado State - Pueblo 41 Northern Colorado 36
Merrimack 42 Wagner 41
Florida Tech 20 Stetson 13
Tuskegee 23 Alabama A&M 7

Also

North Carolina Central 23 St Augustine's 20 - goes to double OT before St Augustine's falls
Virginia Military Institute 34 Glenville State 27 Pioneers got to VMI's 1 yd line before being stopped as time expired
San Diego 38 Western New Mexico 35 San Diego barely escapes

See how I can do this too? After just one week's results. Of course looking at the above "upsets" I think they scarier thing is just who the heck are the majority of these FCS schools that are even classified as such.

Of course someone will probably just say bad teams in the FCS, but that basically is just clarifying the FCS is watered down.

Nope, your thread title should be: FCS Has Some Bad Teams.

The watered down argument relates to whether the FCS has lost too many of its top teams. The evidence this year is that the top of FCS is closer to the FBS, or some of FBS, than it's been in the 20 or so years.

Nice try, but no cigar. Let's hear you tell us some more of your good ones, like how good the move up for UMass has been.
