FCS Games This Week- Week 1

Watching the SC State vs Southern U. game (some of the time) on ESPN2 (DTV 209). The game is not much (14-6 Southern at the half), but the bands -- as usual -- were great. And the broadcasters actually let us see a few minutes of each band. During the earlier MEAC-SWAC broadcast, they flicked on maybe a second and went to other crap for the rest of the halftime. Totally pissed us off. Most of those HBCU bands are big ... and really good.

So #'s 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23 and 24 all lost. Think the Griz sneak into the top 25 this week?

Possible, but doubtful. The Griz final score looked reasonably impressive, but losses to FBS opponents on the road generally don't hurt much, and can help if they keep it close.

45-0, 55-19, 44-14...those aren't very close (although to be honest, if the Griz lost 44-14 to the Huskies I'd probably be elated. :lol:

Cannot believe GRIZ fans are elated into sneaking into the top 25 instead of being in the top ten like the good old days.

I don't think any Griz fan is "elated" that we might "sneak" back into the top-25. We are just hopeful that, after three head coaching changes in 4-5 years, turmoil around the program, and reduced schollies/coaches ... things might be getting back on track.
