FCS Gameday Preseason Rankings

We lost our all-world QB, but so what. We've got an all-world JC transfer coming in from Arizona to step in and a great backup waiting in the wings. And we've brought in some great JC defensive players to help out greatly. I know our defensive will be much improved this year. When you end up losing 3 or 4 league games, then you Griz fans will be calling for your coaches' head once again.

Hey, I'd heard the rumors that there was an ISU fan in Boise, but was never certain whether to believe them!! They should consider placing you under glass at the Idaho State Historical Museum.

As for ISU, wake me up when you beat more than 5 DI teams with a combined record of 10-38.

Ellis Henderson is flying under the radar because he withdrew from school & most people have no idea he's back & ready to pick up where he left off in '13. Excited to see his return & use in this offense. He can play 2nd fiddle or lead the band either way he's going to be good for 1,000 receiving & another 500+ all purpose. I like that we are being over looked somewhat. All the better in my opinion folks!

With all the receivers that will be catching the ball, I doubt that any single receiver will put up crazy numbers.

Keep doubting. 8-) 8-)

I assure you that there is no all-world JC QB from Arizona in the past few years.

Kramer is one of the top 4 coaches in the Big Sky. From my point of view I see ISU beating some folks that they were not suposed to beat. He still has a hell of a mad on for msu. Stay tuned as the guy can coach football and keeps up with the times.

Stitt may end up being a great coach for us. But, just on paper, we should have hired either Kramer or Pease as our new coach. Just sayin'.

I can see an argument for Kramer but might be a bit lateral for his liking. Pease was wildly unsuccessful with the Gators and might not be up to it. I realize that he will make more money as an OC in the FBS but Head Coach at Montana is still a big ask for someone like him.

Apparently they don't know who Ellis Henderson is. Montana should have a great season throwing the ball to its stud receivers on either side of the field. Coach Stitt will finally have this team playing to its strength which is its receivers. The Grizzly defense will be the best in the Big Sky (I know that is not saying much). Why is ISU in the top 25? At Boise St., At UNLV, at Montana, at Montana St., at Cal Poly and they get Eastern at home. The Bengals will not win any of these games away from the dome. They didn't have this schedule last season and if history teaches us anything, any team coached by Mike Kramer that has expectations placed upon it does not fair well. This team will be around 500 this year. Montana St. has the easiest schedule in the Big Sky by a long shot. Rob Ash and Peter Fields have done a great job ensuring this team does not play anyone until November.

Idaho State may end up .500 this year!

Stitt does generally use lots of receivers, but in the past years-with 3.9 students, who were division 2-he's usually had two receivers with or near 1000 yards, and one with over 500. The rest are getting their yards, but aren't getting starting yards. Now he has much more skilled athletes, and when they pick up on this high-powered offense-look out! I think, you're hoping Henderson and jones don't get there yards. They will! Gus will finally get a chance to show why he was signed as a Griz, and Eastern will struggle with a new defense!

A new Eagle defense! No one brings that up! They can't be worse, but will they be better? Montana has a new offense, and everyone is freaking out! Look for blown assignments in this new Eagle defense! This is a desperate team that won't have Vernon Adams and be able to out score teams this year!

On paper, I'd have preferred Nick Saban...
