These "fan" votes can be manipulated by technology, that's why they're a joke. Kid who's winning is a good player but he doesn't stand out where neutral voters would automatically pick him. Don't waste your time on something that was over before it started. The real one is all that matters at the end.

I can't find anything promoting the Western Illinois player. The message board search lists stuff about him from the past, but nothing concerning this vote.

I can't even find a message board for VMI.

How they are destroying the vote, I don't know.

Someone must be cheating and rigged a bot to vote. The VMI RB is now ahead in Walter Payton vote o the site too by 5334 votes. VMI has 1337 students and their stadium only holds about 5000. No, way they have that many fans voting. Military Colllege, my guess some hacker has rigged these two polls

Yeah, it's real blatant. In defense of Virginia, I have lived there and there is nothing to do... nothing (West Side).
