FCS Doings (Except MSU vs UI)

EWU just tied WSU, 7-7, about 2 min left in Q1.

Add: VMI just pulled close to Akron, 17-19 ... who would have thunk it?
 
While the Griz were busy laying big stinking eggs, EWU has been showing WSU what an actual offense looks like. Now leading 38-28. Halfway across the country, Northern Iowa is winning at Iowa State 16-13. And down in Texas, SDSU has been hanging with TCU (#13 FBS team). They're behind by only a TD, 38-31 -- showing that they too know how to score points. Sigh.
 
Figured: Why start a new thread? No biggies involved but -- if you have the right viewing options -- there's a not-bad FCS game on right now: Incarnate Word (yes, they are a private Catholic U) at Northwestern State has been an entertaining game, with "Inky Word" leading at halftime 14-6. Near as I can tell, this is a conference game (Southland) for both teams. We're watching on DTV 640-1, but it may be streaming somewhere too.

Oh, and Eastern Kentucky is leading the University of Pikeville (NAIA) 24-14 at the half. Have no idea if that's on anywhere ... but at least we know another FCS "power" that likes early-season cupcake.
