FCS Coaches Poll with an Error

I just found the first FCS Coaches Poll for 2013. Montana is ranked 22nd. The funny part is the incorrect 6-2 record as reported by the NCAA for 2012. Further, the record is denoted with an asterisk that explains that the Final 6 games of 2012 were vacated.

I guess the NCAA did us a favor and improved our 2012 record. :lol:

Imagine what they're sayin'. They beat two and three. What the heck do they have to do to get any respect? Mabey it's cus of these t shirts they made.

 
Why I am optimistic about a BIG year:

Players have a HUGE chip on their shoulders
JJ back w/ a tremendous amount of motivation & talent around him
A fast nasty & talented Defense that I believe can be top ten caliber in national stats later this year
Schedule is stacked but go 3-2 vs Appy; NAU; Cal Poly; EWU & win at the Cat Box then we're legit NC caliber

We climb the polls with each win. Cement a top 8 national seed. Get a 1st round bye. Host 2nd round gm.
You get the picture & progression throughout the season. Pray for good team health & strong coaching wisdom!

I agree with you on being optimistic PapaBear and much for the same reasons!!!

Also, if the NCAA can forget those games I will try too, but hopefully the Griz players and coaches do not and learn from their mistakes and use them as motivations which it seems to me they are doing.

"Under the new format, eight teams will be seeded, earn first-round byes and host second-round games against first-round winners. By seeding only one- third of the field, the NCAA will be able to create more geographic matchups in the earlier rounds."
