- not putting Taco back ended the game
- too laid back and slow on play calling in first half….no intentionality or giddy up

They kick the ball out of bounds if Dowler was back...a return was not happening.

Frisco restaurateurs were very disappointed that the crowd was 60/40 or 70/30 Trashcan Tommy fans. They fell short of their sales goals for the weekend by 90%.

I agree. But, a snap with the field to go is far better than a return for ndsu there.

I think both teams made reasonable decisions.

At the time - all I was thinking about was Dowler gives them a single chance for a return. In hindsight - that had a zero percent chance of happening.

Decision not to put him back there did probably cost the cats a single snap, however...and that was also good option for ndsu.

Vigen=Hauck They can get it done in everything but the NC where they choke. Hauck leads though 0-3 and Vigen is 0-2. I sort of wanted the Cats to win, and even though I don't live in Montana anymore, I just can't abide the Cat Fans and the copious amounts of garbage they would talk. I picked the game 38-27 NDSU. I wasn't far off.

ALso Tommy Mellott is gone. The Cats won't see another QB like him. Vigen's kid is a passer, not a RPO QB and it's RPO QB's getting the reps and contracts now.

Idk. They probably figured the odds of them blocking the punt and maybe getting a long field goal out of it were better than a one time play from like the 10-20 yard line.

I tend to agree with them. At the time I questioned it. But the more I think about it I think I agree with it.

SDSU is being gutted right now with the transfer portal and the loss of Jimmy Rogers as HC. NDSU has some tremendous holes to fill in losing Cam Miller along with several key offensive lineman. If NDSU can keep Bryce Lance and Marty Brown, I think they will be the favorites next year.

However, I actually could see USD winning it next year. Aidan Bowman is a fine QB and they have Charles Pierre Jr. coming back as running back.

He is far from the best from an athletic standpoint, but I think the argument can be made that Cam Miller is the best NDSU QB of all time. He was a tremendous player.
