Fontes trying to do too much, fumbles, recovered by SDSU. If this gets reviewed, it's Jacks ball at midfield.

Yes on the initial hit as the ball was coming out but his other hand went to control/stabilize the ball as he hit the ground (the ball wasn’t moving around at any point after he re secured it?

Please clarify as to why that’s still ruled a fumble?

You got it, everyone else is wrong.
 
So far the name of this game for the Griz is missed opportunities. Outside of the first drive the defense has answered the bell over and over again, but the offense keeps shooting itself in the foot with the self inflicted errors. Fontes trying to do too much there was just the latest. If the offense does anything to help the Griz win this game
