Hardly. In the second half, the Bison never had the ball with a 14 point lead (so couldn't have gotten to 3 TD lead), except the last few seconds of game. And, in the second half, the Bison had a lead of 14 for only 74 seconds (all of 74 o which EWU had the ball), except right at end of game.

"Far closer to 3 TD game". Ya, right.

You are an idiot. And don't have a clue about the game of football. I assume Bison fans are some embarrassed of you that they force you to egriz to make posts.

They did multiple times, including a drive where they had a phantom offensive pass interference call.

Don't cheat, don't get flagged. Simple.
Bizon were not impressive today at all. I know it's kind of their thing, but holy shit they are bland to watch. Zzzzz.

Bland...LMFAO

I’m sure you were perfectly thrilled when the Griz had that epically exciting 13-6 win in the big game in 2001

I just find their brand of football very boring. I'm not sorry, and I'm not alone. Pro Tip: Try not to take any small criticism of an fcs football team as a personal insult.

And, it was a 7 point game at halftime, and EWU with within 7 points for all but about 8 minutes the second half, including until 1:18 to go. A pick 6 by EWU then instead of giving up a long TD run by the Bison QB would have tied the game. Bison deserved to win the game, but EWU could have beaten them.

Ya and if your aunt had a dick she would be your uncle....

The game was far too often closer to being a 3 TD versus a close one.

They did multiple times, including a drive where they had a phantom offensive pass interference call.

From 10:44 in the third until 2:19 in the 4th, the Bison had a 2 TD lead.

EWU pulled it within 1 score (after the Bison went up 14-3) three times. 2 of those times, NDSU scored another TD within a minute. The third time took 3 plays and just followed the first minute of back to back picks.

NDSU was up by 2 TD’s for 45 minutes of the game.

Oops, you got me there. I spaced out the long Bison drive in 4th Q which resulted in no points.
that was a great drive, by the way. Agree on the mystery PI call on the Bison. However, in first half, there was a mystery PI on EWU on long pass (when the Bison receiver just stumbled, a bad/questionable call against EWU for chop block, a weak/questionable call on EWU receiver who really wasn't in the backfield (total BS call), a mystery holding call on an EWU receiver, and a bad call for intentional grounding when there were receivers in the immediate area.

I stand by my original comment, which others made too, that EWU showed that the Bison are beatable. Wasn't impressed with your qb at all.

Just a friendly warning, I wouldn't waste my time going back and forth .it's not worth it. All you will get is "you obviously never played the game".

Prior to that long drive, NDSU lead for 2 TD’s for nearly 13 minutes, and EWU did nothing. I mean almost the entire 3rd quarter.

5 TD’s the game by Stick. Who is the last player in an FCS championship game to have 5 TD’s? That last run was fucking epic.

Hands down the best QB in FCS history. Not debatable at this point. Nobody is going to break his wins record.

Congrats to EWU. They made it a game. Obviously, NDSU is very good, but EWU showed Bison are beatable. Too many big mistakes by EWU, and then giving up a couple big plays. Can't do that and win. NDSU make some big mistakes too. Refs screwed EWU early. The stripes made some horrible calls, both ways.

The long long drive by Bison in 4th quarter ate up over 10 minutes of the clock, and prevented an EWU comeback.

I enjoyed the game. The game reflected well for the Big Sky.

How did they show the Bison were beatable this year?

Did they ever lead in the game? Did they win the turnover margin? How about the TOP? More first downs? More yards? Literally what performance metric did they prove to be the superior team?

Save for a fake field goal, this game was NDSU all day. Every time EWU had a big play, NDSU immediately responded.

To say the Bison looked beatable and EWU could have won is not the same as saying EWU is the better
team. The better team won, but could easily have lose. When they do I doubt if we'll be seeing BisonBacker on this board. He probably only came over because he knows the Griz are one of the few programs that give a shit about minor league football.

Not debatable that he's the winningest qb in FCS history. 100% debatable if he's "the best ever".

That’s fine if you want to debate it, but nobody is touching what Stick did. 3 losses in his career. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

He isn't even close to being the best qb in fcs history. I would take dozens of fcs qb's over him. You are a joke.

He threw 2 picks and had 13 completions in the national championship game. Anyone could have run for his last TD. His hole as huge. Didn't even have to make a cut.

Which team shit on the main stage of ESPN, and huge national crowd, in the first game of season several years ago? Answer: the Bison.

That game has the largest crowd the Bison played in front of that year.

Again, tell me the last player in an FCS championship game who accounted for 5 TD’s? Seriously, I want to know.

Do you understand in the Bison offense, the QB is responsible for 80% of the plays? It’s the most complex system in college football in terms of responsibility the QB has for decision making on protection, adjustments etc.

QB play is vastly a mental game, and Easton Stick is a magician. Sure he had a few turnovers, but he was trying to make plays. Again, 5 TD’s.

Defenses have largely never had an answer for him. When he runs, he is unstoppable.

Kid had a bad back injury that prevented him from winning in 2016. Other than that, he dominated the opposition in college. He’s the GOAT at the FCS level. Winning is all that matters.

Literally the only people that remember that smoke filled fluky exhibition game are Griz fans. I know it was your greatest win in your program history, but the Griz got their ass fucking handed to them, in horrible fashion, on a national stage once the playoffs rolled around. It was embarrassing.

My cousin played on the 2015 Bison team. Has a national championship ring. I guarantee you that nobody on that team gives a flying fuck about anything other than the end result.

NDSU is a great team and Stick is for sure is the real deal. I know I would trade that one victory for what they have accomplished since.

Cheney lost the game, NDSU didn’t. Now, back to their grotesque red field in the high school stadium for the mighty Eagles.

Pretty sad when that high schoolish type school is the best the BSC has to offer...
