Also, same can be said for the EWU offense scoring 24 points. Overall, NDSU had a better game so they are the better team but by being stopped and being scored on, showed that they are beatable.

Congrats to EWU. They made it a game. Obviously, NDSU is very good, but EWU showed Bison are beatable. Too many big mistakes by EWU, and then giving up a couple big plays. Can't do that and win. NDSU make some big mistakes too. Refs screwed EWU early. The stripes made some horrible calls, both ways.

The long long drive by Bison in 4th quarter ate up over 10 minutes of the clock, and prevented an EWU comeback.

I enjoyed the game. The game reflected well for the Big Sky.

How did they show the Bison were beatable this year?

Did they ever lead in the game? Did they win the turnover margin? How about the TOP? More first downs? More yards? Literally what performance metric did they prove to be the superior team?

Never once did I say EWU was not a good team nor that they were not going to make some big plays.

But making some big plays does not equate to being able to win. They were not winning this game today. NDSU had a C performance, never trailed and won by 2 TD’s.

Once Eastern settled in, they played very well. Big turning point is when the backup quarterback came in and fumbled the ball deep in their own territory. Take that gift 7 away and the game would have been tied and Eastern wouldn't have had to onside. Different ball game.

I thought Eastern had a few calls in the first quarter that changed the game also.

Another big loss for Eastern was their dominant DT not playing, he would have made a big difference, especially against a run team like NDSU. Gotta give Eastern credit.
