You are incorrect but carry on.Yes, I think Utah State is more relevant than Northern Colorado. In fact, I think Montana Tech is more relevant than Northern Colorado.

He's at least half right. USU is a good program. UNC is not.You are incorrect but carry on.
I wasn't making a statement on the quality of the program, I was commenting on the relevancy of each program in the new Playoff system/Transfer Policy/ NIL version of "college football".He's at least half right. USU is a good program. UNC is not.

If the average CFB fan thinks the Griz play in D2, then they are not real college football fans. It's unfortunate but it could be argued that every FBS team is more relevant then any FCS school, outside of maybe NDSU and that's only because of their giant slayer reputation. The average CFB fan thinks Montana plays in D2.
UT’s friends. If the average CFB fan thinks the Griz play in D2, then they are not real college football fans.
It could also be argued that the average football fan has never heard of Utah State, Florida Atlantic, UTSA, or Ohio or would have any idea what division they play in.It's unfortunate but it could be argued that every FBS team is more relevant then any FCS school, outside of maybe NDSU and that's only because of their giant slayer reputation. The average CFB fan thinks Montana plays in D2, outside of our die hard fan base it's the reality.
Colorado State? Boise State? Ok, when Montana gets an invite to the PAC-12, let me know.Yes Fbs G5 or G6 would be a huge upgrade to our football schedule. If anyone says playing northern Colorado, Portland st, nau, idaho st is equal to Wyoming, Nevada, air force, unlv, Colorado st, boise st, they need to have there head checked.
Yes we can compete and have the infrastructure to be competitive. Would we the school everyone is chasing in the conference anymore. No, but we would competitive. Freaking Portland st plays at a high school stadium and look northern Colorado stadium and most of fcs don't hold a candle to our infrastructure.
Our attendance is better then most of the new mwc, about middle of the new pac. Our tv ratings is better then most of the new mwc, and pac. So we would be a value to those conferences. Our only real draw back is out tv market. The dakotas and montana have no people. Maybe 3 million combined
Our fan passion, tv ratings, and our name is what sells.
We will not move up till all the courts, nil lawsuits and new regulations are in place. We will not hear anything till maybe April when the tv deals for the pac and mwc have clarity. Mwc commissioner has even publicly stated this. The fcs is not on the board till this is all done. She had said they are very interested in major fcs programs but will not make any moves till all the lawsuits and that bs, is done.
You might be giving average fans too much credit. If the average CFB fan thinks the Griz play in D2, then they are not real college football fans.
I’m drawing a blank. Can you name one FBS team to play a road game at an FCS stadium outside of Idaho? There is an outline of conference schedule too. Not hard to schedule bouse st and Colorado st for a home ans home. Not saying we are going to pac. Shit we could get washington here. Texas played Wyoming in Wyoming.
Yale's stadium holds over 61,000. Used to be bigger. Army's stadium holds 38,000. The Yale Bowl is the first bowl stadium built. "An estimated crowd of more than 70,000 people came to watch the first game at the Yale Bowl, including Presidents William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt"Army played at Yale in 2014 (and lost, lol), although it was a special occasion to commemorate their rivalry and the 100th anniversary of the stadium.
Texas went to Wyoming and beat the Cowboys 41-10, including scoring 35 straight points. If that is what we would be expected to get excited about, that doesn't sound as fun to me as our current situation. There is an outline of conference schedule too. Kennesaw State would be amusing to invite here. FBS program (ok, they just transitioned) with 10,200 seats visiting Wa-Griz.Yale's stadium holds over 61,000. Used to be bigger. They are not allowed to by conf. rule.I’m drawing a blank. Can you name one FBS team to play a road game at an FCS stadium outside of Idaho?
Me too. Good point.Colorado State? Boise State? Ok, when Montana gets an invite to the PAC-12, let me know.
