Tell ya what, after perusing the Liberty board, I have to give them props....They're a very classy bunch from what I saw in the few minutes of reading I put in. Appy state hands down takes the cake as my favorite. I can't say I hate the kittens on any occasion other than Griz/cat game; they represent the state of Montana, and so I will root for them so long as they are not on the same field as the Griz. I don't care for SUU, but Nova definately takes the cake as the all time worst fan base, coach, etc....followed closely by SHSU, who seemed like a classless bunch, although I can't judge their entire fanbase based on their fan-forum's posters.
Appy my favorite, Eastern my least. The cats don't figure in. My preference is that each year we play them for the conference championship, and in an Ideal world be on opposite sides of the Bracket for the national Title. Nothing would please me more than to ruin their season TWICE a year
Favorite... App or Delaware I suppose, two great fanbases and two great teams over the long-run. I like Villanova and Richmond too, solid teams that beat us in the 'natty fair and square, not much to "hate" about them. In-conference the only team so far that has much respect from me is CPSLO. Wofford and Youngstown I'll put on a "neutral" feelings list as well.
Most hated... the rest, but there's a sliding scale
1a. bobcats - obviously
1b. Idaho - grew up hating them more b/c they were competitive in the 80s/90s where msu was not
2. Portland St - cheap shot team
3. ISU - former cheap shot team, terrible stadium
4. JMU - loud mouthed fans and coach
5. UMass - Like Red Sox fans but at the FCS level
6. SHSU - Fairweather fanbase that's pretty much clueless with a few exceptions
7. EWU - Little brother to the UM, ugly field, getting an F is a passing grade on campus
8. McNeese - Late 90's/2002 still pisses me off
9. Northwestern St - cocky bastards picked a fight with our team pre-game in 2000
10. UNI - "nut-punch"
11. Sac - last year aside using Pam no-stick spray years ago
12. NDSU - 2003
13. NAU - the walkup skydome sucks and I don't like teams that celebrate mediocrity
14. Weber - 2008 and 2010, also their troll fans on here, glad we sent Lillard out of the 'sky as a loser
15. Ark St - nasty field, cocky players calling out our team on twitter
16. Georgia Southern - Beat us in 2000, was the media darling of the 90s
17. Marshall - yeah
18. UNC - represents the continued denigration of the Big Sky at almost all sporting levels

The Skydome does suck but as domes go, it's better than most. Do you mean fans celebrating mediocrity or administration bringing Souers back after lackluster seasons? I'm happy players are graduating and staying out of trouble but there's no jumping up and down over 6-5/5-6 seasons.
Favorites: I'm a Big Sky homer and pull for the rest of the conference when not playing NAU. NDSU as I had pretty good experiences with Bison fans when I've lived in/visited Fargo. Seattle U. as I had a blast visiting my cousin when he was a student there.
Most hated: I reserve my hatred for SEC, ACC, Big East, Big 12 and a few choice Pac-12 teams. Some FCS fanbases have spoiled fans but none deserving any hate.

My favorite, outside of the Big Sky (I too root for BSC teams, when not playing the GRIZ.), App State.
Hands down, the ones I dislike most ( hate is overdoing it), James Madison, follow closely by UMASS.
JMU- Their staff and fans were a little to extreme for my liking.
UMASS- A few too many of their fans were hard to stomach. A few of them were great, but they seemed like the minority.
Of Big Sky teams, since their current coach took over, Portland State is hard to root for.
