Favorite Griz Player of alltime

I'll give an "honorable mention" to Jody Farmer from Libby.

All-American Punter and a threat to run on every punt. Also, was a very good RB for average teams.

``He was so unique, so daring,'' Don Read says. ``He was fun because he put fun into the game. He was reckless, but you loved him for it.''

Grade AAA, freaking badass. Hit home runs in second grade, could wheelie walk a BMX bike for a quarter mile in third grade, was doing doughnuts on a CR-80 in fourth grade, four pitch pitcher in sixth grade, wrestled 171 lbs in 12th grade, and one of the best damned frog catchers I've ever had the pleasure to see in action. Awesome at Double Dribble, but below average at Mario 3. Star football player who never acted like it. Died supporting his family, like a champion.

Obviously a couple from closer to my beginning era of Grizzly athletic boosting. In that spirit, I shall nominate:
Football: Stan Renning
Basketball: Zip Rhodes
:)
