This guy is blazing fast. Plays for the USA rugby 7's team. Has run a 40 faster than anyone at the NFL Combine has ever run. 4.22 (for Detroit Lions). Played football at Ashland.

Wait, is he fastest in the 20 or the 40? I didn't read the link to find out, and I'm hoping somebody can answer before this thread gets moved.

Not FCS or Griz-related

Mods?!?!

Wrong. FCS and Griz related. This guy was recruited by FCS. The captain of the US team, who speaks in the video, Madison Hughes, played at Dartmouth, and they are FCS. And I made the post, and I follow an FCS team.
There ya have it.

Weren't the Griz looking at some Canadian kid as a legit recruit right around signing day. Some team MVP?

My bad this came off as completely random as I thought this fastest man in rugby was a Canadian player

Fuck that. This kid can run like the wind blows. I don't care what forum it's in; this kid is impressive.

EDIT: Maker's is pretty good.

He is fast and he is playing for his country. That's enough for me to appreciate this thread.....

He's also playing with a former Griz football player, who didn't get on the field here but had the talent and played at Western.

"Martin Iosefo (born January 13, 1990) is an American rugby union player who plays for the United States national rugby sevens team. Iosefo grew up in Wahiawa on the island of Oahu in Hawaii where he learned to play rugby. After finishing Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, he went to the University of Montana to play American football as a walk on.[1] Iosefo started playing rugby competitively while in Missoula, Montana with the University of Montana Jesters.[2] Iosefo played with the Men’s Collegiate All-Americans at 2014 Serevi RugbyTown Sevens.[3] Iosefo played with the Denver Barbarians at the 2015 Club 7s Nationals.[4]" Iosefo has been recognized for his size and athleticism,[5] as well as for his hard hits in defense.[6]

Jean Gee was the reason Martin didn't get on the field at UM.

Recent Missoulian article on Martin when he was in Missoula a couple months ago. He works out a Peak downtown when he's in town.
