All college fans should periodically remind themselves that this a bunch of teenagers playing a game

Well, except for that 12th yr Senior QB from Sac State...

And he gets a 13th year to play next year, too! :shock:

Since 1995 the Griz have had 11 "championship caliber teams" (semi's or title). Of those 11 teams only 5 made it through the regular season without a head scratcher FCS loss. That fact along with the strength of Sac State this year should be enough to show it's nowhere near time to hit the panic button on the season.

That said if we lose another to EWU this weekend the season isn't over but we would definitely be trending towards a early playoff exit. The Griz have done this 8 times since 1995. The game this weekend is a pivotal point in the 2019 season.

1998: 8-4 lost 1st round playoffs
1999: 9-3 lost 1st round playoffs
2003 9-4 lost 1st round playoffs
2005 8-4 lost 1st round playoffs
2013 10-3 Second Round
2014 9-5 Second Round
2015 8-5 Second Round

If we lose to EWU then we will have maybe one more game to give up before looking at another potential dreaded NO PLAYOFFS season that the Griz have had 5 times since 1995...
