Bottom line is we all need to get over ourselves, that includes me. We all have our reasons for coming here. Some like to poke the bear with a stick (pun intended), some are looking for or imparting some actual knowledge, most are here to have somebody validate their opinions of the team they follow. NO fan base should be judged by their message board because small people can say petty things when it is anonymous. Fan is short for fanatic and I don't question anybody on here for their desire to support their team in the manner they see fit. We have come along way from the days when the east coast teams dominated FCS or 1-AA as we knew it then, and we didn't get the respect we deserved. However, I have taken to the notion that the rule of 10 for volunteer organizations to fan boards and that is 90 percent of the work is done by 10% of the group as 90 percent of a fan board is crap and 10 percent is actually worthwhile.
I love this for what it is, a distraction from other things, but it is not Gospel by any means. So, we should all take a deep breath and just have fun will all of this versus letting our undies bunch up in the rear. Go Griz!
