Fan Confidence Index for UM @ Northern Iowa

You may remember a few weeks back we posted a survey, and asked for predictions in each of the Griz’s upcoming games. With that data, we developed the Montana Mint Fan Confidence Index. The Fan Confidence Index uses the survey data and weekly data from social media to create a weekly confidence score for each Griz and Cat game. For instance, last week fans were 24.7% confident Montana State would beat Idaho and 98.7% confident Montana would be St. Francis.

It’s not scientific, but a potentially interesting gauge on where fans are.

This week’s scores are below, including a breakout by fanbase. You’ll notice MSU fans are VERY confident about their chances against Bryant.

The confidence score comes out with our weekly email (comes out on Thursdays), and we are going to post on Egriz and BobcatNation a day early (Wednesday nights) because we love you.

Montana Mint Fan Confidence Index

University of Montana @ Northern Iowa
All fans: 22.3%
Cat Fans: 2.0%
Griz fans: 34.5%

Montana State vs. Bryant
All fans: 96.3%
Cat Fans: 99.9%
Griz fans: 94.6%

Unfortunately will never happen. Their anti Griz sentiment is so strong that the majority would rather beat the Griz than make the fcs playoffs...true story. Almost 70% voted it on kitty nation in a poll. Would have said "bull crap" if I didn't see it wth my own eyes.

Focusing on size, now you sound like the conversations coming out of Turner Hall!
 
Not much chatter about the game on UNI's board. I guess they learned their lesson after all the trash talk before our last game. :lol:
 
I can state with a 100% confidence interval that I hate Montana State 100% of the time. Impossible you say? It ain't..

So 1 to 2 Cat Fans, 34 to 35 Griz Fans, and around 8 to 9 others think we will beat UNI. Thanks.
