I, like many others I assume, come on here daily to stay up to speed on recruiting, new news, etc.., yet rarely post. I am a fan and like to stay current, period. It's the trolls like bushwhacker, long turd, upchuck, tiny clifton, and others that attempt to muddy up everything, but all they truly accomplish is making themselves look pathetic. While at times it gets a little frustrating having to weed through their gibberish, mostly it's comical watching them embarrass themselves repeatedly. Overall though, I'd have to say I love it here, generally cuz I love our team.

I don't know what you're talking about since I've never purported to be a victim. Just pointing out problems with your reasoning. You asked me a silly question. I just answered it with the truth. If you don't want an actual honest answer maybe don't ask the question. Besides which, maybe read my answer again. I said if a fan of a rival team was talking trash about me on their board, I would let it go. I can't believe I have to say everything twice. Sigh. This is not a rival message board for me, this is my team that I am a fan of. I never said I would just let things go here, although I am generally very nice and respectful. I am just tired of fans of rival teams coming on here.

Many of us would love to talk about the upcoming season but the problem is that with the current transfer portal situation, we don't know yet. We probably aren't going to know much of anything until after spring ball and even then it will still be conjecture. But that is the current situation of every FCS program in America right now. Except maybe SDSU but even they have question marks where NFL caliber players graduated.

I think the majority of egriz posters would love to have, and are capable of having perfectly rational logical conversations, even with fans of other teams. I think the best advice to fans of other teams is to remember that you are not on your own team's message board. If you want to post about your team, go to their message board. If you want to have a rational conversation, we will do that. But if you just come here to rag on UM in general and Griz fans in particular, then go somewhere else. Are we biased towards our own team and towards UM and its facilities? Of course! That's the whole idea of a fan board. I will just never understand the constant carousel of fans of other teams who have to come in here and tell us how we're wrong about everything and then somehow get offended when we tell them to be quiet. It gets old. Plus, why do fans of other teams even care if there's a bunch of infighting on here? So what?? Having been a member since 2003, eGriz is literally the same as it’s always been. There was no “golden age”, it was, is, and has always been just a glorious, maroon and silver poop show. :lol:

This is a sh*t show, but it's our sh*t show.

The most amount of users on egriz EVER (according to the metrics on front page of the forum) was September 2023 - after the NAU loss. So to say that the site has lost interaction / eyes / attention is just wrong.

Also, I think with the expansion of use of social media groups - like the two Grizzly fan pages on Facebook, Twitter/X, and then the various podcasts as well, a lot of conversation is more spread around - vs where it used to just be here.

Great post. I think your last paragraph, specifically your last sentence gets to the crux of their issue. They care, they care immensely. So much so that they feel the need to come on here over and over and over and over, some with multiple screen names. It is a pretty sad and pathetic existence they reside in. The Griz are quite literally living rent free in their heads, and they just don't know how to deal with it. It must really suck to be them, glad I'm a Griz.

DaBoysMom is in fact very nice and respectful and has been for many years. I have also had dealings with her off the board. Super nice. She is not arrogant and self-important in the least. She is one of the nicest people on egriz.

Many fans of other schools have come to egriz over the years and had very good experiences. If they are respectful and not trolling, the conversations goes well.

Many fans of other schools have come to egriz over the years and had very good experiences. If they are respectful and not trolling, the conversations goes well.

Of the many trolls who come and have come to egriz, this one is very low on intelligence. One dumb thing after another. I wonder if he's been kicked off egriz for attacking me, and now he's avoiding saying much to me?
