120 guys? Isn't roster limit 90, including redshirts? :thumb:

Actually I don't believe there's a limit on roster size. But you're correct; only 90 can be brought to camp. But once the season starts, you can bring in additional bodies as blocking dummies if you choose, although there are conference limits on how many suit for games. Then throw in Title IV....

Let's call it 90 with 30 student aids, trainers, film guys, water boys, etc. :thumb:
 
I have to admit, after seeing how beat up the OL was in spring camp, Schmaing's eligibility is the best news of the offseason. I did not like how the OL looked the scrimmage I watched. Then again, Nguyen pulled off one of the best stutter steps I've ever witnessed when he was dead to his rights running wide right. He and Van are sure fun to watch shake would be tacklers.

Welcome back Schmaing. GRIZ NATION is happy to see you back I'm sure JJ is even happier though.

Getting Schmaing, Russell and Horner back is like getting three quailty transfers in at the last minute....HUGE gets (re-gets?) and I can't WAIT to see them blow up the reorgainzed depth charts....

I actually jumped around the living room when I read that Schmaing is back! That is great news and that's not the booze talking. it's only 10:40 am here so I am not even that drunk yet.

I see the smart asses are back . I am not trying to make it a told you so thing regarding Will Cherry. I'd just like to see the infamous, idiotic all time jerk, Growler (in any alias he is going by) to get his ass on here and eat some crow.

How many times did he and a few others rip on Cherry for what he was not or would not be? Then he had the audacity to take it a step further by posting that I did not know basketball and Cherry would not even sniff the NBA. With some luck, maybe he will stay under the rock he is under.

Some you wonder why in the hell some solid posters do not post as often as they used to? It because some egrizzers make it where it is not worth one's time to give some good insight regarding GRIZ athletics.

Back to Schmaing and GRIZ football. I am happy to see him take care of classroom business. It will be a joy watching him on the field this season, in what will be hopefully a long over due playoff run. This OL is much better with Schmaing than without him. GO GRIZ!!!!
