Usually the football year is very carefully laid out, with clear cut rules about spring and fall camps, number and timing of practices, etc. But currently we are seeing little to no guidance from the powers-that-be regarding fall camp, even from conferences that canceled fall football. It seems that some schools are continuing with their weight room and maybe player-run practices, but are not doing their fall camp, while others are still going full steam ahead with practices. If I am correct, MSU went ahead with their planned fall camp and they are practicing while Montana is not.
Is this chaos and lack of defined parameters bothering anyone else or am I the only one? It just seems like there needs to be some clear framework going forward (unless it's been given and I'm missing it).
