Wow, the team looks great already. I'm trying to post like Mony. Ha.
BOZEMAN, Montana – Friday not only found the Montana State football team practicing in Bobcat Stadium for the first time after six practices on Lambert Field's grass surface, but the team was able to work on the kicking game in full force because of one simple factor.
Goal posts.
…
Lambert Field, the grass area where the team conducts most preseason practices, doesn't feature goal posts…And when we punt, our spacing and being able to understand the type of field we have to cover and working our different situational punts, it definitely helps to be in the stadium and see where those lines are at. It's different than being on the grass.
1st practice was good. Good is better than bad. Sometimes bad is almost good. When good is nearly bad, then it's really bad.Wow, the team looks great already. I'm trying to post like Mony. Ha.
Did you get your law degree at Tech?Wow, the team looks great already. I'm trying to post like Mony. Ha.
Schedule is at the bottomAnyone care to post the practice schedule here? I can't find it.
Pretty stupid comment. Vigen mentioned that we weren’t doing field goals and pat’s to start as we just brought 2 kickers in and now they are starting the competition. Kautzman has been doing tons of practice and Hall has been doing kickoff and punt stuff.![]()
This pic is great. Green grass, lines, and holy crap: goal posts!
I just read an article this week that the catz practice field does not have lines and no goal posts. Apparently, the catz players know they scored a TD when they reach the sagebrush.
They can’t even practice kicking out there. No wonder they suck so bad at it.
Coaches would be stupid to not develop him as a LB. Watched him for 3 years in high school and can guarantee he is significantly better on defenseCody Shweikert was the #6 guy practicing with the QBs. Looks like wet are back to 6 like last year. Although he's listed as an athlete, it looks the depth is pretty good with a lot of young talent.
Pretty stupid comment. They obviously need to practice kicks following the disastrous season. They had to write and article about practicing kickingPretty stupid comment.
