Great call and great execution. Finch is 6'3 or so and that play was designed with his height advantage in mind. Great throw too. Finch and Huff have been solid on special teams all year and both had plays were huge.

And that fake punt sends a message on tape to upcoming opponents, including that school for wayward girls east of The Divide and playoff opponents, that come 4th down when we're in punt formation, maybe we punt and maybe we don't. It's nice having a HC that is a Special Team's guru and genius !!!

He said on the radio that they've had it called for the last 3 weeks, but that it requires a specific situation to run, and they finally got it against Sac.

Kellen Detrick was lost for the season after getting hurt on a fake in an early game a few years ago. He took a direct snap and ran it. I believe it was successful.
