What's the problem with anything Herder wrote here? The article that said nobody was sure what to make of either UM or Davis, and this game would steer their future narrative? All seemed very milquetoast and fine, considering it's free national FCS coverage.

Is the hostility due to anybody daring to question if the Griz were a top 25 team? Because I think that was very logical and widespread -- as he said, and was shown here -- and may return depending how we show against this Idaho buzzsaw next week.

In short, there are as many opinions out there as people brave enough to speak them. It's what makes America great. If the mere mention of another possible opinion sets you off, you need to ask yourself why. Take a walk, smell a flower, kiss a girl, talk to a therapist. You're not alone, you're doing great, and you deserve to be loved.

Anyone who thought the Griz weren’t a top 25 team before Davis doesn’t have a clue about football. Herder is in that category. He doesn’t like the Griz. I don’t recall having an issue with what he said about the Griz before or after the game, except the top 25 BS.

All the best players? They were missing Larrison. Even Trent Tompkins played yesterday (not a ton, but he did play). They had their QB, they had their receivers, they had everyone but Larrison. It’s about time the injury bug goes the other way for once.

That's okay. Herder wouldn't have stated it well either.

Most Bison fans know UM has a great program, even thought the Bison have had a better team. Not as many Bison know that I represented Fargo’s main publicly traded tech company, Great Plains Software, the Founder and CEO of which was Doug Bergum, the current ND Governor. Ha. After the sale to MSFT, Bergum became hood friends with MSFT’s then CFO, a UM grad. The former MSFT guy had a fundraiser for Bergum in Seattle last week. All of

While it is true that McDowell has breathed life into the Griz O, it is also improved play by the o-line and some receivers stepping up to catch tough balls.

Not a fan of Sam Herder. He claims to the national FCS guru, but hasn’t detached himself from NDSU, his alma mater. If you listen to him on Coulter’s radio show, he can’t discuss any other program or conference without weaving NDSU and the Valley into the conversation.

In this weeks pole, he has USD at #6. He’s not willing to punish the Bison, but can’t justify ranking NDSU ahead of USD. Now In his eyes, the Yotes are squarely in line for seed in the playoffs :roll:

He was super high on Davis early in the season, and I think it’s interesting he still has them ranked in his pole this week.

If Davis won, I’m sure he’d have them up in the top 15, and would have the Griz way outside the rankings.

must be lawyer speak as I don't know what you are conveying....If you are saying the D2 win will impact the Griz, the way it is written it says "may" impact the selection which is completely different than "does" impact the selection. Again not sure what you are saying, you need to dumb it down for guys like me who did not get further than the 8th grade.
