With the NCAA making this ruling official for basketball as well, is there any chance the team can convince Te’Jon Sawyer to play another year? He played at SFCC in 2022/23.
I would love to have him back. His knee might be an issue in his decision. With the NCAA making this ruling official for basketball as well, is there any chance the team can convince Te’Jon Sawyer to play another year? He played at SFCC in 2022/23.
Heal up and play one more year fully healthy… the ability to return Money, Pridgen, Malik, Sawyer, & Kai (maybe) is wild. Especially when you couple that with the bench/redshirts. I also think this rule applies to Adam Shoff, I would love to see him stay around the team as a GA or with the extra eligibility ruling.I would love to have him back. I'm guessing Adam will be off to dental school,Heal up and play one more year fully healthy… the ability to return Money, Pridgen, Malik, Sawyer, & Kai (maybe) is wild. It doesn’t. D2 is still under the NCAA umbrella. So how does this rule apply to Kai?
Then what is the argument for him to get another year of eligibility? It doesn’t. D2 is still under the NCAA umbrella.
Did he have an injury at some point? Could be trying for a medical redshirt. Then what is the argument for him to get another year of eligibility?
He has applied for a waiver, but I don’t know the specifics. I think that it has to do with the lack of a RS year and the use of a Covid RS. I don’t believe he was ever injured(medical RS). My uneducated guess is that the waiver will be denied. Then what is the argument for him to get another year of eligibility?
