obviously developing ah yat is not the reason, all the confident 'i know what's happening' bluster aside.

This is your own hyperbole. He's not torpedoing the season. He's taking a (unwise) risk in team performance by a commitment to develop Ah Yat. Clearly Fife is better prepared to win games, but BH has made the gambles that are not working out so well.

There are people in this very thread (and many others) saying that he's sacrificing this season for the sake of playing Keali'i. It's not hyperbole from me lol
 
Coach Hauck might be good at some things but quarterbacks are definitely not one of them. The way he fights with his staff over the QB position is simply a power play.

Play the guy that the coaches want and the team wants to play, Just one time listen to others and prove you can develop a generational talent instead of all the flop drop downs Hauck has used the last 10 years.

Lot of players "deserve" to play but that doesn't mean they get to. He's made a foolish gamble and even listening to his presser Sat night, he doesn't believe it is working, mainly because it is not. This team is better, a little, then their record. Fife is clearly a better QB at this point in the season. Build a lead with him and THEN put Ah Yat in, something he's hardly ever done in the past. How many times have we been up by 35 and our starters are STILL in the game.

This, all of this. It is crazy to see how discombobulated the offense is switching QB series after series. There is no continuity. Very frustrating to watch. Play to each quarterbacks strength. Ah Yat is better on the move and RPO, Fife a better passer in the pocket, IMO.

No, lots of players don’t deserve to play and don’t play. I have never seen the Griz up 35 with starters still in game.

My view is that people who say they are living rent free in someone’s head are essentially admitting they don’t know what they are talking about and the other poster has won the battle.

Pissing match aside- when has this approach worked for anyone? I’d love to see an example if one exists.

This is not the type of offensive “innovation” I’d been hoping for.

The are several real interesting things to me about this thread:
1) no one asked me why I made the thread and said what I said
2) posters have not added an actual evidence to dispute it
3) there are some people that act like they have no interest other than to tear someone a new ass
