I enlisted the help of my neighbor, Mr. Cole Bergquist, and we passed the ball around, kicked a few practice punts and attempted a few imaginary field goals out of our lawns

It is a good thing you can punt and pass, because the extra point was not pretty. All the same, congrats.

I was in the pop fly contest in the Seattle Kingdome when I was 16... I caught the first 2, and the 3rd bounced off my glove... Missed a trip to Disneyland, but it was cool to meet Edgar Martinez and Ken Griffey Jr....

my son caught a Jason Giambi (well didn't catch it, but he got it) HR in Seattle when Giambi was with Oak and not a big name at the time but still really cool for a kid about 12 yrs old.

Yeah, that's cool... I always carried a glove and got close to getting a foul ball a few times, going back to when I was 10 or so... As far as a HR, I told my parents to buy tickets in the outfield... Even being 38 now, the bucket list includes getting a ball from the All Star Contest...
