For what it's worth: Pat Kennedy's Towson Tigers are 5-6 so far this season. Roy Booker is averaging just over 20 pts per game for Southeast Missouri State. He had 26 in a loss against Illinois. Corey Easley is averaging 8.5 pts and 3.9 boards for D2 Minnesota State. Lamarr Farr is averaging 13.5 pts per game for NAIA Lambuth.

I kind of wish Farr didn't leave, his hustle really impressed me while he was on the court. Much like Virgil this year, great hustle.

I am pretty happy with the team just the way it is, why mess with the chemistry?

I am happy with the team as well, it's just I respect guys that hustle their butts off, and Lamar struck me as one of those guys.

Did Booker play for the griz or was he just supposed to?

He played one season and really came on strong at the end of the year. He began starting when the GRIZ went to a 3 guard offense and won 5 games in a row (I thnk). While Farr is at the NAIA level he is on a real good NAIA team. Lambuth has only one loss. Lamarr did play for the GRIZ with a lot of hustle. He had a tough time with his outside shooting however.

Booker never played FOR the Griz. He may have had a Griz uniform on, but will always be playing for himself. He is EXTREMELY selfish, on and off the court. I am guessing he isn't averaging too many assists. He is a total ball-hog. He also got Vernon Smith kicked off our football team. Not many can say they hurt 2 teams at once. We would not have anywhere close to the team chemistry with that idiot around. We would not have any football players at our b-ball games either. He is personally responsible for causing the friction between the 2 teams, which is just now starting to heal.

If Booker were still here , he might be averaging 20 pp, but we'd probably have a 6-6 record.

If you're right about him, Zirg, then I think Krysko would have given him the bum rush long ago.

How did Booker get Smith kicked off of the team? I wondered what happened to that guy...

After Krysko was hired, Booker decided to leave. I don't know one way or the other about a "bums rush". I too heard the message board stories about Booker being invoved in friction between football players and bb players. I do not think Booker was necessarily "selfish" when he played for the GRIZ. However, he may very well not have fit in with Krysko's approach, which has obviously, been quite successful.
