That was a very mediocre eastern team, probably the worst eastern team in the past decade… And if I recall… They still had a seven point lead midway through the third-quarter, and a fumbled kick off return completely turned that game around, not EB3.

You are completely underestimating this EWU team…

And to be honest, that was a mediocre Griz team you guys played in 2019, as have been the last 10 Griz teams. This is the first Griz team that I’ve seen since Haucks first go around here that resembles our dominant years. Great offensive line play and extremely stout physical defense were the norm at one time here, and we still weren’t quite there the last time EWU and UM played. Don’t get me wrong, this will be a good game when we play, I just think the Griz this year have maybe the best defense they’ve had since 2001, and the best offensive line they’ve had since 2009. They also have arguably their best top to bottom receiving corps, maybe ever.

In regard to the defense, their performance so far has been incredible. They've given up only 7 points in two games, 17 points in four games if you go back to the spring season. Their last two opponents have gained only 474 combined total yards, and 7 points. UM gave up 47 fewer yards and 3 less points to Washington on the road than Michigan gave up at the Big House. This defense is straight nasty this year.

I don’t disagree…I think the Griz have a great team, it just seems like a few in here think it’s going to be an easy game..

It will be the first home game with students in 2 years (against a heated rival), Griz haven’t won in Cheney since 2008, and it’s a night game on espn between 2 teams most likely to be undefeated and in the top 5. The game should be great and extremely competitive

I think it will absolutely be competitive, for three quarters 8-) 8-) Then the Griz defense will be the big difference maker in the game. No one would argue that EWU has maybe the best offense in the league and probably it’s best passer too. But not far behind you stands Montana, who has a very prolific offense of its own. We shall see
