in all fairness the meeting is going to last until 3pm lol. I suppose like all meetings they get behind a bit from time to time..maybe someone was telling Liz Cheney jokes.

I was being sarcastic, but that's kind of interesting. Do you have ties there or live in the area? I only ask because you seem to know EWU things before the rest of us.

Just following some Spokane area news personalities on the twitter machine.
 
The obvious challenge from the BOT would likely be, "So with your recommendation for the status quo (to do nothing), help us understand how the (unacceptable) $2MM annual shortfall is fixed."
 
The EWU faculty has been trying to do this for years. They will never agree to tightening their own belts. Now they have a President that agrees that athletics are the problem.

My guess is they are gone to Div 2 in a few years.
 
They announced they are now planning to broadcast Eagles games over the 5G network recently delivered by the Covid vaccine.

"Shots that might cause a virus against a field that does, it was a no brainer, which is also a major here at the school." said EWU President and former Tigers infielder; Barbao Garbay.

That wouldn't be so bad, would it? They'd compete with Western (non-football) and Central WA universities, among others. Maybe you're all afraid MT will follow. :o
 
EWU isn’t going anywhere....

A couple professors raised a stink and created this mess, and it’s turned into a hot mess but EWU isn’t going anywhere.

The BOT will keep everything the same and things will move forward as usual. Most schools are struggling financially right now, it’s not just EWU.
 
The best indicator of an FCS school’s heath is the number of its trolls on egriz. Directly proportionate.

The Fecal troll numbers have plummeted in recent years around here, and only poor Marc is left to keep it together. The “everything’s fine” memes just seem to easy and sad.

Little surprised their QB has not transferred. If they keep him their offense will be the top one in the Big Sky which should make them very competitive next year.
