EWU VS UNI

I will go the other way. I see UNI winning a close one. I think UNI has the secondary to limit a Kupp-less EWU offense. EWU has started the year with a very tough schedule against two very good offenses, but their D has given up 42 points and 50 points. I think UNI will score on them.
 
EWU'a defense will have a rough go of UNI's attack. If UNI can slow the game down, make possessions count, and force a few turnovers... They can hang with EWU for a chance to win. They'll need to play a perfect game though. EWU should be able to torch them through the air, and I'd bet will win the game.

After our aerial circus, their heads are probably still spinning and EWU should be able to have their way with them...
 
EWU may win but I do think UNI QB and defense is better than some are giving them credit for. If they can't stop UNI QB running with consistency, and he is a dangerous runner, he will torch them with his arm as well. The running back is tough too.
 
EWU big favorites imo. Straight up EWU might be the best team in the FCS. Anyone who watched that game yesterday saw they got the short stick on a lot of bad calls and a missed fg at the end. I think EWU is a better team than NDSU but just got slightly unlucky.

Just wondering, if the instant replay confirms the call on the field is it a bad call?
 
Nobody mentioned #93 for UNI. that guy was a beast. Pressuring the QB is huge when you play EWU.

Dont act like you have a defense with those guys back....Montanas defense was out of this world on Saturday...no way EWU matches that, UNI likely wont get dominated on offense like that again all year. Not even by NDSU.

Dont act like you have a defense with those guys back....Montanas defense was out of this world on Saturday...no way EWU matches that, UNI likely wont get dominated on offense like that again all year. Not even by NDSU.

Not a chance EWU matches montanas defense this weekend but they also don't need to either. Eastern will boat race uni off the field Saturday. As far as Easterns defense, it is much improved compared to the last two years, that's not saying a whole lot but it is better...

Were they confirmed or did they just stand as called?
 
CDAGriz...Why do you refer to the Bison as UNDSU? Is there a joke to it being referred to as University of North Dakota State University? Just curious... :?
 
UNI runs for 350+ yards, has over 35 minutes in the TOP and wins 45-24. Then again this is from the guy who thought computers were a fad.
 
This game will be a shoot out much like the game in Fargo last weekend. UNI will run all over EWU and the Eagles will throw the ball all over UNI. If UNI can get a pass rush they will stand a good chance to win. If EWU can protect and get ahead early they will stand a good chance to win. I bet there are 40+ points scored by both teams in this one and it will be a fun one to watch. Good luck Eagles I hope you take em down.
 
Any details yet on TV coverage for this game?
On the Dish game finder, it shows N. Iowa @ UNI at 5PM Montana time on Saturday on alternate channel 412-30. I hope that is the game, and they just have the teams labeled incorrectly.
