EWU vs. Oregon

61-42 with 2:30 left.
Kupp breaks Autzen Stadium record with 15 receptions. Has 3 TDs and around 200 yards.
 
Adams was impressive ... but the Oregon coaches cannot be happy giving up 42 points and almost 550 yards (and counting) to anyone, much less an FCS opponent.
 
Wow, with the EWU cheap shot! I mean, wow, there was a cheap shot by EWU. Totally expected.
 
Expected cheap shot aside, EWU hung in there. They kind of got blown out in the box score, but didn't really get blown out. Passed for a shit ton of yards. Pretty admirable effort, and likely better than some PAC 12 teams will do. Good job, Eags!

West looked pretty sharp. It's a shame that he really only got to play 2 1/2 quarters. And as good as he looked, I thought Hennessey might have looked better overall.

I have to agree with CDA on this one. Their D is obviously not all that great, but their offense came to play. Kupp will play on Sundays.

West looked pretty sharp. It's a shame that he really only got to play 2 1/2 quarters. And as good as he looked, I thought Hennessey might have looked better overall.

I'll admit I was obviously interested in the Griz game, but why didn't West play the whole game?

Definitely not something I wanted to see; he was definitely late on that one. I will say that Baldwin destroyed him on the sideline afterwards.

He went out early in the 3rd with cramps. We played most of the second half with our Freshman backup QB.

Good to hear. Great showing by the Eags as far as I'm concerned. Gonna be a handful in the BSC once again.

Holly Crap - Ducks second team in the nation 2014. Cooper Kupp over 200 yards (all galaxy) with 2 different QBs, Hennesy just as impressive as West. Folks lets not be delusional the Big Sky goes thru Eastern. Not even a contest as far as I am concerned. Great wins by Portland State & North Dakota but come on Eastern was in a different league against the runner-up of 2014. Griz my heart is with ya but come on - at this point we can not hold a Jock strap to Eastern. Cooper Kupp unless he gets hurt is all galaxy & the rest of the Big Sky will be playing for runner-up!

If you focus some of that recruiting effort on the defensive side of the ball, you may actually compete nationally some day. Good luck!
