EWU vs Montana Lower Bowl Tickets

Ok Griz Nation,

Everyone always suggests I don't want to do anything for the Griz. Well, here's the deal, I'm willing to offer you some of our ticket allotment for the Big Sky men's basketball tournament at the regular price.

I have a small traveling number for the EWU vs. Montana game, thus in the lower bowl, we have a few open seats. I am more than willing to sell off our remaining allotment for each Big Sky All-Tournament Pass (which would get you into all three games, including a possible championship). These tickets are across from the Montana bench and near the floor at section 108/109 (the majority of the tickets in the lower bowl are sold out, so this is a deal!)

They are $45 each.

Look, it's your choice if you want to purchase some great seats for the entire tournament and sit across from Montana's bench. We have only a few left, but I figured I would make the offer. If you want to talk two years ago, then that is your choice. The offer stands until we are sold out, which may be soon.

Or you could buy the tickets for pennies on the dollar from Eastern fans after EWU gets blown out the first game.

Pardon my skepticism, but I don't think that Eastern is trying to do us any favors, but rather they are simply trying to sell the minimum tickets they are required to purchase. Why the skepticism?? Well, he posted the same offer on bcn!! :lol:

EWU has a few all-session passes left over in its allotment for the Big Sky Men's Basketball Tournament. These are lower bowl (sec 108/109) seats and all-session passes (2 games tuesday, championship wednesday). They are $45 each.

These are right across from the Montana bench, so you can yell pretty loud and still get on TV with great seats.

I can have them left at will call under your name.

I guess I don't understand the logic that somehow I may be deceptive, since they are lower bowl tickets (sold out for both Montana games) and it is the price set by UM.

I appreciate the offer, and if I were back in Missoula, I would take a few tickets off your hands. As for some egrizzers, there will always be some harsh feelings about tickets, being GRIZ fans are usually always shafted in football when we visit. I am pretty open minded, and it even upsets me.

That kind of sounds like you are doing a favor for us Griz fans.. So maybe that's why some people are finding this somewhat humorous.

You have to admit it sounds like the Griz fans do get shafted for football tickets frequently. And EWU isn't the only team that does it of course.. So there might be some animosity over that too. The little sneaky marketing campaign a couple years ago through your mailing list was kind of funny though. It sure ruffled feathers.

Still, I hope someone buys your tickets, so the seats aren't empty. We need butts in every seat! Of course Growler's will be empty since he has to stand or his hand goes numb.
