I am so excited about what this team is doing. It takes me a few days to come down after a game anymore. Sleeping is very difficult.

Good game, Griz. Hopefully you guys can get a higher seed in the NCAAs this year and represent the Sky well, but considering how awful the conference is, I doubt anything higher than 15.

If we win out, 14 seed at the worst.
Big Sky is 29th out of 33 conferences in RPI. Big Sky has TWO teams that are over .500 in both conference and overall record. Please list your quality wins. 15th seed likely, 14 if you're lucky.

I agree with part of what you say. If only ewooo would recruit and compete then we would have two more quality wins against worthy opponents. its time for ewoo to change their strategy and try to compete and win instead of sucking and dragging down everyone else.

Maybe it's time to recruit the state of Washington ewu, instead of filling your team with foreigners and academic misfits.

Suffice it to say for tonight: how good is this Griz team when you're rather disappointed with a 19 point road win??

The Griz are good, but they also faced a young, incohesive EWU team that was without it's top 3 players.

Meh. First, ewoo was hardly without its 3 best players since Chiverton played about 35 minutes. The deal there was, Will shut him down so bad he wouldnt even have been the best player on an 8th grade co-Ed intramural.

Second, yes losing Joice hurt. But the Griz have done what they've accomplished this season with the best player in the league out half the games, and injuries to other guards as well.

Third, none of that changes the point behind my post: the Griz have to be damn good if you're mildly dissatisfied with a 19 point drubbing on the road, particularly when the host school did everything imaginable to try and draw more than a 1000 fans and get them fired up.

As well as the Griz are playing I'm hoping we aren't headed for the latest version of deja vu. That being developing unreal expectations for a program that plays in a totally inferior D1 basketball conference before going one and out against an okay, but not particularly spectacular team that has been challenged all season long by real competition.. The BSC doesn't really prepare you for a challenge greater than beating on less talented and lacking programs. The Griz need to put on long pants even at the expense of joining the West Coast Conference while sticking around in the BSC as a football only member like Cal Poly and Davis. Seriously...the BSC is a one way ticket to nowhere. Tinks, the players and fans deserve better.

Tip, I don't often agree with you, but I do here (although I would argue the Griz need to get out I the BSC for ALL sports).

Agreed. Unfortunately the powers to be sat on their hands when the MWC took on three new members from the failed WAC that are no way better - and maybe less deserving - than the Griz. Few if any options remain for joining a decent all-sports conference. UM is truly f--ked...

Total Pipe Dream, the Griz leaving the BSC for all sports but football? Step away from the crack pipe, you are obviously on drugs.

West Coast Conference has absolutely no interest in Montana and suggesting so displays that you have no clue.

Agreed...I don't know why football is the only thing talked about in the move up arguement. Basketball needs it more.

Zzzzzz...another status quo kool-aid sipper preferring to duck the real issue - the BSC is an albatross around the neck of Griz athletics. Deal with it...

It's "delusional." Your familiarity with reality is surpassed only by your spelling...

Haha classic. You do know that everyone of those question marks represent a Busch Light, right??? And trust me, the headache I gave you is nothing like the headache I had this morning due to all those question marks :thumb: And if your counting those 3 question marks above represent my Super Bowl pregame. Haha :thumb:

I think he realises how important he is to this team, with sometimes limited minutes, but he is making big sacrifices for this team, and we are lucky to have him! Here is to Hendo, we know you have game, and are a true team player! YOUR TIME IS COMING BUDDY!!![/quote]

You have a point, but then someone has the same exact point with Deshields, Gregory, Weisner, and Coleman this year too. Starting next season, add Dunn, Gfeller, and Bradshaw to the list too. It is amazing and unbelievable the depth of talent Tinkle has accumulated here at PG, SG, and SF. All these guys are damn good, and we are thankful to have each of them.
