Because jimmy Wilson killed a guy, bit a girl, kemp and Trumain got tazed, Quin got two DUIs, and Donaldson raped girl, none of the for mentioned got kicked off the team. Is that enough of a guarentee?

I have no doubt if we had a player like Grayton that has never recorded a single game time statistic who pulled a gun on the cops that he would be kicked off immediately.

A perfect example is Brian Maus. He was immediately kicked off the team by Pflu a few months ago when he crashed his car and was charged with a DUI.

I don't see where EWU acted any different than UM would in this case.

Show me an incident where a Griz player pulled a gun on a cop and wasn't booted....this is a little different than a DUI or being tazed, the guy that admitted rape was booted from our team. The bottom line is you ain't so picture perfect like you've been portraying over the last several months.

If your talking about Donaldson he is currently suspended from the team according to the gazette and the missoulian. And your right pulling out a gun and holding it to the ground is way worse than holding a girl against her will and raping her. :roll:

Well with a gun you can kill someone. I don't think you can die from rape unless he had a std, knife, or gun. But it sounds like Donaldson didn't use any force whatsoever. So.. Idk it's pretty tough to say because that is still really f***[*] up to rape someone. But then again... Pulling a gun on a cop?

Shouldn't even really be comparing. They are both f***[*] up and both should have never happened.

That's not tough to say at all. That girl was stripped of her dignity and will go through life with that traumatic event affecting her. Fact of the matter is he didn't kill anyone, and didn't even point the gun at anyone. He was just being a drunk dumbass and trying to be a tough guy by flashing it.

Cannot compare actions of a glassy eyed drunk that was apparently so non-threatening that he didn't get shot by equally large, armed men paid to keep the peace to sexually attacking a woman. It's pretty cavalier of someone to say you can't die of rape and excuse the act if there's no force. I hope no one close to any of you is ever a victim of this crime (the unfortunate reality is that for many it's a life sentence of emotional and psychological pain).

NOT, he would have done that to ANY player for packing a pistol into a local bar. So are you saying the Griz would actually take into account the status of whether the player is valuable to the team or not before dismissing him? I would hope not for a charge of this magnitude. But I guess JJ is still on the team, so you answered my question. And to the other dumb poster who said rape wasn't like pulling a gun on the cops, SHAME!!!
Let's keep both of our football programs clean and educate these athlete's (the offending one's) what college athletics is all about. Represent your University and community, this is a privelage!!

Exactly great post. It's too bad some griz fans got there heads so far in the sand they will do anything to compare or justify the circumstances going on in Missoula right now. Rape, DUI, altercations with police, or pulling a gun on a cop all amount to being illegal. It's really not that hard to understand, right?

Hauck and Pflu would have kicked him off the team. Hauck once kicked off an all-american shortly after he waived a gun from a car in Missoula. I "guarantee" that G1 is wrong yet again.
