I just called the EWU ticket office and they said they are putting up portable bleachers in the end zone. Tickets are $50--general admission plus $7.50 per ticket convenience fee. Call Tickets West to purchase tickets that can be e-mailed to you. Call 1-866-446-3247 option 1. :thumb:

What......they didn't sell out a day early despite the secret "insider code", nor did they sell out in 23 minutes when released to "outsiders" as claimed to have happened 2 years ago???

The game was sold out already, but they brought in more bleachers than originally planned. Expecting upwards of 13k for the game. Could end up being standing room only for some.

Sorry that there is so much more to do in this area as compared to Missoula...4 years from now, betcha won't be making these comments anymore.

Dude, give me a break. I live in Spokane now, and let's not kid ourselves, it isn't Seattle or Portland. What else would you rather be doing here on a Saturday, hitting up laser tag? Maybe head down to Pullman and watch the abortion known as Coug football?

Spot on!!! Besides the occasional concert or event. Spokane is not much more exciting than missoula. There really is not that much to do....

As much as I agree with you about Coug football, people do go down because it's PAC 12 football. They are still drawing 30-40,000 fans and they don't all live in Pullman. There is also the Spokane Chiefs, Whitworth Pirates, Idaho Vandals, Gonzaga, and Spokane Shock. Although some (Idaho & Whitworth) don't draw many fans, the point is there is options. EWU isnt the main attraction in this state like the Griz are in Montana.

Plus, there is a mindset that EWU is a hassle of a drive from Spokane. It's improved dramatically in the last 2-3 years, and will only get that much better when the Gateway project is done.

I for one am glad to see a good turnout in Cheney. Beats the hell out of the opposite. People on here act like they only want WA-Griz full. We need all stadiums in the Big Sky full.

Go Griz! Beat the Jacks! Then, we will look to plucking some Eagles.

well said bud...i wish ALL the big sky schools had what UM and MSU has. it's pathetic when they always say the GRIZ coming to play a Big Sky team is the hottest ticket of the season, and the joints are still half empty.
