I know. I'm bitter. But EWU getting absolutely screwed by the Refs. Much like a lot of other games decided by inexplicably bad calls or no calls (Harvard, Boise, SMU).

EWU is not getting screwed. They are seeing what it is like to actually have officiating who don't call the ticky tack crap the BSC officials blow their whistles on. I've said for years, if BSC officials can more consistently officiate close to how NCAA Tournament games are officiated, it would help the conference in the tournament. :thumb:
Exactly, from what I have seen you can actually tell what/why they are calling. A nice change. :thumb:

I know all that. I've been preaching that for years. But the chest bump by a thug Hoya to knock the RWU guy flat when he was getting off the floor was a clear F1 or F2. Jois had a clean block that was called ticky tack. The boise guard got the defender off the ground and got landed on. It's either one way or another but it sure seems like the 'dogs are not getting the calls.

If we learned anything today it's that a bunch of mid-majors are as good as the power conferences. KU the only clearly superior team today.

Where are all the EWU fans on this board tonight. We got a couple NAU and Sac people, but no Eagles. Do they not come here foe good conversation. The one night we are all pulling together and they are no shows. They would be here if the Griz were playing.

I bet a few of them are blitzed for this game, and have started to drown their sorrows. G'Town is killing them now. 53-35 G'Town. Jois missing a lay in .

Probably true but the need to man up. If Griz fans quit posting every time things went south or they got pissed drunk this board would look like... Well every other Big Sky board. Post like a champion.

True DAT......LMAO :thumb:
Are you saying, GRIZ fans are better at posting drunk and multi tasking?

Have a feeling many of the EWU fans are new to paying attention to a basketball team.

The Griz fans...we're used to the ups and downs of basketball :P

Ha Griz fans better, drunk, multi tasking it all seems so redundant. It's our birthright.

God knows the last 2 NCAA tournaments, we experienced the DOWNS of the NCAA tournament. :thumb:

kind of a tough game to watch, part of me always wants to see the BSC rep do well. But in this case, watching Hayford get his pie hole nailed shut is kinda fun!

Yep, honestly, if you are in the BSC it is what should happen. No shame in it, that is why they call it an upset. But you don't stop believing in your team or being proud. Shows how lucky we were to have thE coaches we have had.

Looks like EWU has mailed it in now. Nobody going for that rebound except a G'Town player. Also no continuity in their offense any longer.

I tried. I tried with all my might to root for the BSC team.

In the end, couldn't do it. Instead I found myself repeatedly rooting for a Hoya to grab Hayford's ridiculously large bald noggin and begin dribbling it down the floor, thinking it was a game ball.

I know the feeling EG. A few years ago, for the 1st time in my life, I felt I had to root for the Boston Celtics. I was very anti Miami Heat and the Big 3. If felt awkward and made me sick to root for the Celtics, despite how it felt, I managed to do it. When the Heat did put them to rest, I really did not feel for the Celtics though.

I have yet to be forced to root for the Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and Notre Dame Football ( all my least favorite teams in their respected league/sport). It would take something to help the Philadelphia Eagles for me to ever root for the Cowboys. The Yankees and Notre Dame is possible, yet a very slim chance.
