EWU at Montana: Game Thread

Holy Crap, a 1 Point Safety in the Oregon Kansas State football game. I have never heard of it, or seen it at any level.
 
UM seriously needs to up their game in more ways than one...this crowd might be ok but they look bored, and the place seemingly has no energy. Hard to get support for that....the students need to be moved to the sidelines and the band more active..something is missing here....it is ok to win the game but it should be a fun experience as well...maybe it is, off camera.

ah, that explains much..but even the announcer says it is quiet there...this team looks like it responds to crowd support...hope it picks up...
 
That score could have been a lot more one sided. GRIZ looked damn good overall in the 2nd half. Shooting was better in the 1st half, but everything else was better in the 2nd half. This GRIZ team has serious scoring and perimeter depth. A Qvale or Selvig would be so nice this year.

Very excited to see Coleman finally have a very good game. Gregory is getting better and more confident every game. I am surprised we did not get more time for Martin in the last 7 minutes when we up comfortably. He and Hutchison need as many offensive trips and touches as possible when the GRIZ have comfortable leads. We need to develop them.
 
Where is everyone? The GRIZ won and played well, and nobody is posting. Come on egriz liven up. It is basketball season, and this is a good GRIZ team again.

Sorry buddy, just got home from the game! If people looked bored like LA said thats cuz those people arent good griz/basketball fans. That was a fun game and the 2 brightest spots were Jordan and Spencer both having great games. It would be huge for us if Coleman gains confidence from this and develops into another quality scoring option and rebounder. Looking like its going to be another quality conf season!

refs still using training wheels, looking lost at times, cannot figure out the traveling rule
Cherry forcing his game, great D but wow his offense ????....


BUT....Griz WIN-looking like a deep team and getting better with every outing

This one for the students, when they return. How about some of them making signs "Pretend it is football, and the GRIZ are on goal line stand defending the North Endzone". Or "GRIZ BASKETBALL brings the game, WE BRING the FOOTBALL NOISE." "Lets go to the basketball game and have a football crowd break out"

Come on GRIZ fans, we are better than this!!!!

Sorry Rule. I was out tonight and had to miss the game, unfortunately. Read the thread and it sounds like another good second half for the Griz. Anytime you can win a conference game comfortably, you'll take it all day long.

Nice to see Gregory and Spencer play well. Spence could be a huge difference maker in the 2nd half of the season.

I certainly hope Will continues to improve, but physically and with his game.


Too bad the Lady Griz got edged.

Good win for the men, and now, beat PSU!!
