EWU at Montana: Game Thread

Questionable officiating in the 1st half, slight advantage to EWU, but not drastic. What has happened to Cherry's game? He is not even looking to penetrate, and his perimeter shot is not even close to acceptable. Jamar not doing anything. Ward limited too. Great 1st halves by Gregory and Coleman.

Good perimeter defense by the GRIZ, keeping EWU at bay from 3. GRIZ win this one by double digits.

Gregory is a true baller! He has been playing great all season, but he just continues to keep getting better.

Martin has to get stronger, be stronger when going to the hoop

He knows it, the coaches know it, and his parents know it. The plan was to redshirt him this year to develop him more. Great kid, and great attitude. He will be just fine with time. I really like his upside.

He will be a good one :thumb: Just gets pushed around, but you can see his potential with a little weight and muscle. He has some pretty good skills for a big guy

I think Cherry's foot is bugging him more than he would let on. I think it accounts for the poor shooting and lack of penetration.

Jamar and Wards numbers this year would be alot better without always riding the pine with foul trouble, but its not all on the crappy BSC refs, they both seem to put themselves in bad positions and reach alot for already being foul prone? They need to learn to make better decisions?

You might have something there?

Cherry looks awful. Sloppy passing. Might be time for him to sit a spell. Sure wish he used his RS at this point.

Don't want to be a putz, here, but honestly, I firmly believe the best high school teams in the LA area would blow both of these teams out tonight.....Surely, they are better than this...this could be a play in game for the Big Sky rep in the NCAA....

I am surprised you did not say Middle School teams! Since you are in Cali, everything is better there... at least you always say that is the case.
