MBBALL Ewooo Game Thread

Very questionable coaching decisions by Decuire in the final 4 minutes. Some of those set pieces he drew up out of timeouts were not good. The Thompson three when were up 5 was all time dumb. Aquino misses the front end of the one and one and then fouls on the other end to let Eastern take the lead. We also turned it over 3 possessions in a row during that stretch. They were so worried about killing clock that they couldn’t function. I blame Decuire for this one.

They sure did. And they had it won until the bsc officials inserted themselves with a complete bullshit call. Look, it is what it is in the bsc: But that doesn't mean we should avoid calling a spade a spade and saying that was bullshit call that handed the game to ewooo. Two things can be simultaneously true.

Griz blew that one. If one call was the difference, then maybe they didn't deserve to win, especially since they had multiple chances to take care of business and choked hard

But, without that bullshit call they DO win. So I would suggest they DID deserve to win.

Same thing Decuire does when they have the lead. He has them take their foot off the gas and they end up losing. Best example was when they did it against the bobcats in the championship of the Big Sky conference tournament. Griz basketball is in a bad spot. Zero crowd atmosphere at home and very average team. Griz sports are not good, especially men's and women's basketball.

Yes. We discussed this already: yes. Very true. Should have finished. It's also very true that but for a ridiculously bullshit call, the GRIZ win. Two things can be true.

I know it doesn't fit your persona, but you can admit it. Everyone knows it anyhow
 
I think Travis is a great coach. That said, I think he had a terrible game. The final straw was calling a timeout with the ball in the hands of your best play maker with less than 4 seconds to go. He was driving to the basket and ended up making the shot. You did not have time for a time out, trust your players to make a play. Especially Money, he thrives in tough situations. We will learn from this game, but its a tough one to lose this way.

There are no absolutes, so no guarantee they win if that isn't called. What is for certain though is they blew every chance down the stretch, and that is on them.

Also, I don't even now what you assume, but it is probably wrong.

Dude it’s one loss. You must’ve forgot how good we were last year. This will be a great learning lesson for all involved. They’ll be fine. Step off the ledge. Unless you’re trolling, in which case then jump off!

Travis didn't call that timeout. It came from a player on the left wing on the floor. You see the official to the left recognize it.
