Uh, Silver-T ... according to my Nat Geographic topo map, central Missoula is only about 15 miles -- direct distance -- from the corner of Idaho that's about 4 miles due north of Lolo Pass. Don't know what AAA has to say, but I'll take NatGeo (directly taken from USGS) over them any day. (Don't need your dough, however. :lol: )

Alas, 'Tip, your distance statements are not, and have never been in dispute (well except for IdaGriz, who thinks Idaho is closer than you do, but he is in Idaho so that explains that). No 'Tip, the only conversation, or dispute, is why you hate the noble Osprey so much. And no one can wager on that.

Hey, hey, hey ... I fixed that wording, so leave me out of this. (BTW, I don't "think" Idaho is closer, I simply let the map software tell me that the most southwestern 'burb of Missoula is less than 12 miles from a corner in the Idaho border.)
