We have Dish Network and CenturyLink for Internet and phone -- and no ESPN3. I have, however, had very good luck with wiziwig in the past, and hope that will be the case, should the Griz advance to play EWU.

Do you have Dish TV? I have Dish and Centurylink also in Missoula and I get ESPN3.
Yes, we have Dish TV. But, we've never had ESPN3. Perhaps there's something I don't know. My tech-savvy daughter will be here on Wednesday. I'm going to have her check it out.

As long as you have your log in information for your Dish account she should be able to get ESPN3 to work.

This is true. Go to watch espn and select DISH as your provider. Then log in as if you are logging into your DISH account and your all set.

I have Directv specifically so I can get Root. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot get ESPN3 if you have Directv??? Streaming is so frustrating in general.

I've always had good luck with ESPN3 on my kids Xbox, good picture and easy to navigate all the games. I assume it will be the same again?

No problem, I wish it didn't have to be this difficult to watch a damn playoff game.

So far, no GamePlan...

All first-round FCS Playoff games will be shown on ESPN3, an internet-only broadcast platform also known as Watch ESPN. The games are not available through free or pay-per-view television.

Well lets hope maybe someone with some pull can get ESPN's head out of their ass. Its been done before.

"The service (ESPN3) is available to Charter customers around the country, but national Charter representatives tell MTN that Montana customers do not have access. Due to ongoing contract negotiations with the FCC and other entities, certain internet-only cable services, including Watch ESPN, are not offered, after Charter's recent purchase of Optimum."

Or in English, highly paid do nothing Charter douchie doesn't get along with highly paid do nothing FCC douchie... And everybody else can eat shit

Cat, Griz playoff games not on TV Saturday

BILLINGS - No one in Montana will be able to watch the Montana Grizzlies' or Montana State Bobcats' upcoming playoff football games on television, and only a select few will have access to internet broadcasts, based on ESPN contracts with local and national cable providers.

All first-round FCS Playoff games will be shown on ESPN3, an internet-only broadcast platform also known as Watch ESPN. The games are not available through free or pay-per-view television.

Watch ESPN is only available to select providers that ESPN has contracts with. For example, it is not offered to DirecTv customers, but is available to DISH Network subscribers.

The service is available to Charter customers around the country, but national Charter representatives tell Q2 that Montana customers do not have access. Due to ongoing contract negotiations with the FCC and other entities, certain internet-only cable services, including Watch ESPN, are not offered, after Charter's recent purchase of Optimum.

National Charter staffers did admit, for reasons they said were unclear, that a few random customers in the Billings area have been able to log in and watch ESPN3.

Efforts to reach local Charter representatives were unsuccessful.

Other Montana cable providers such as Mid-Rivers Communications and Access Montana do appear to have access to the service.

To view Watch ESPN programs, customers are required to enter their TV Provider account information - usually a username and password, and often times an account number.

Montana hosts San Diego, while Montana State hosts South Dakota State. Kickoff in both games is scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 pm.

Local bar owners in the Billings area say they don't get ESPN3 and are hoping Saturday's games will eventually be available on pay-per-view, or ESPN GamePlan. On occasion in past years, ESPN has decided late in the week to make games available on pay-per-view.

So Charter customers in MT might not be able to login to ESPN3 anymore.

I downloaded the ESPN app on my Xbox One, entered my dish account info and bingo. I have access to all espn 3 games which includes every FCS playoff game with replays.

Also helps to have extra fast internet
(30mbps)

Not that it really matters since I'll be at the game live this weekend, yelling till my voice goes out once agian :thumb:

Not necessarily. I have direct TV as well, but I log in to the ESPN3 stuff using my internet provider, which is Cox. I avoided centurylink (the other internet provider in Vegas) because cox Internet has an agreement with ESPN, while directv and centurylink do not.

Same thing here. Its the only reason I have an Xbox gold membership is for the playoffs.

I opened my watch ESPN app and entered my login info for Charter and it said it was verified and worked. I figured out that you need to use the Charter email they give you. I tried the username that I use to get onto the Charter website and that didn't work. I tried the email address and bingo.

FWIW. my email address was my [email protected].

I have Dish Network - Is there a way to DVR the bobcat game via the internet ESPN3?

You live in /near Fargo right?
You do not live in Charter's Mountain States region (Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah)... we new to the company and not on board with all the perks just yet
