ESPN3 and Charter

Is anyone else who subscribes to Charter in Montana internet having trouble with using ESPN3? It worked great last season for me, but now it won't work at all.

I'm not sure if it's the same problem I have or not. I guess ESPN3 does not work with the Linux OS due to the HAL not being present in the browser. It worked fine until I upgraded. If anyone can help let me know. I may have to run the wine emulator but i'd rather not.

Last season was still Bresnan. Word from their support (if you can get to it) is next week Blah blah. Its been going on since Jan. One fell I talked to says its never coming back as they will be charging for access through Roku etc.

Last night I tried (espn3) for the first time (since last season) through Cybernet1. It was a mess. Cutting out, freezing up, picture would go from excellent to blurry. A couple times "ESPN Channel difficulties" popped up or something like that so maybe it wasn't the local provider? Will try again tonight (Villanova/Syracuse)

Charter/Optimum/Bresnan's access to ESPN3 is limited to content via the website http://espn.go.com/watchespn/ and only allows you to watch the ESPN3 labeled content. No need to log in. Mobile Apps involve login info, and do not work.

Speaking of ESPN3 and Villanova/Syracuse, it's 17-17 with about 5 mins left in the 4th.

Nova ball and driving. I don't like Nova but this has been an entertaining game and Nova has looked impressive and legitimately as good/better than Syracuse and not just getting lucky plays/calls.

This has been my experience as well. I have no issues watching ESPN3 on my desktop PC, but the watch espn app doesn't work on my tablet.

Charter does not currently support watch espn. You can watch espn3, but other channels require a login with your cable provider credentials. Charter also doesn't support other premium channel extras, like HBO Go, etc...which is total bullshit since we are already paying for it.

Bresnan/Optimum/Charter customers are not Charter in the larger picture customers (not yet at least) Services will migrate to Charter Spectrum platform shortly after the current digital conversion has been completed for the greater region (MT WY CO) Perks to the faster internet services that will be offered (60mbps and 100 mbps) will be features like HBO Go , Watch Espn, etc. Timeline estimate would be mid November for the launch of the Charter Spectrum services.
